Your Fault: Relocating Or Buying A House Requires Hard Questions

Relocating, or buying a house? Climate change means asking a lot of hard questions

climate cowFor those thinking about relocating — perhaps for a job, or after retirement — there are myriad decisions to make. But these days, one of the key considerations is climate change. With heat, firesflooding and devastating storms increasing in both frequency and intensity, buyers are being forced not only to figure out whether the homes they want to purchase can stand up to environmental forces, but also whether entire communities will remain sustainable in the coming years and decades.

New York Times columnists Ron Lieber and Tara Siegel Bernard did a deep dive into the topic in their article, “How to Shop For a Home that Won’t Be Upended by Climate Change.

Lieber joins Here & Now‘s Robin Young to talk about the questions to ask and where to find the answers.

Yeah, it’s a stupid podcast, because we’ve never had bad weather before. Never, had, say, a hurricane obliterate Galveston, Texas, killing an estimated 8,000. In Warmist World everything is linked to ‘climate change’.  If we head to Fish Wrap we get

Actually, I’m only mildly surprised that the left haven’t at least been suggesting assigned housing, to end segregation, so don’t give them any ideas.

Barack Hussein Obama and his lovely wife, after Mr Obama thankfully left office, did not return to their very nice house in the Windy City, but instead bought a seaside estate in Martha’s Vineyard, at something less than 20 feet above sea level. Our 44th President was very concerned about global warming climate change, so much so that he signed COP-xx committing the United States to all sorts of things that would never be met, and had it worded so that it wouldn’t be a treaty that the Senate could reject, yet he paid big bucks for an estate that would be one of the first washed away it there actually was serious global warming climate change.

John Kerry, former Senator, former Secretary of State, and most recently Joe Biden’s global warming climate change representative bought an 18 acre seaside estate, though visibly higher up then Casa Obama, overlooking Vineyard Sound.

Them rich pepo sure ain’t like us’n!
