You know what’s missing from the article? Data. Anything saying how much sea rise there is. So, let’s go to the NOAA website, and see that the short term gauge, 1970 to 2020, shows a whopping 0.08mm a year rise, “equivalent to a change of 0.03 feet in 100 years”. This is what they are freaking out about in the real world.

Typical. Doctoral student needs to get something published to get degree and goes for low hanging fruit. Making predictions about the distant future which can never be proven wrong. And reaching a conclusion that every PHD in the “School of Earth Science” already agrees with. Thanks for contributing to “science”.
No doubt a university sponsored, taxpayer funded vacation to Easter Island for “research” was included.
Of course that is the average sea level rise. Should we be more concerned about the average in crease? The mean? Or the extreme ?
