Doom Today: We Need More Government Control To Stop Tipping Points

Notice the part about “civil society action”: that means government controlling your life and taking your money

From the doomy tirade

World leaders must take “immediate, unprecedented action” to prevent devastating climate tipping points, experts say.

The Global Tipping Points Conference is taking place in Exeter this week, and almost 200 delegates have endorsed a statement calling for action from policymakers – especially leaders meeting at the COP30 climate summit in Brazil later this year. (snip)

The Brazilian Presidency of COP30 has repeatedly highlighted tipping points in its communications, and the new statement joins the COP organisers in calling on governments to help trigger positive tipping points in their societies and economies.

Would this be the same Brazil that will see over 40,000 take fossil fueled travel for COP30? So much that they are cutting down the rainforest to build a big, wide road for all those fossil fueled vehicles after they fly in on commercial and private jets?

“Governments and businesses must rapidly align their policies and financial flows to limit global warming and halt the destruction of nature to minimise the risk of triggering further dangerous tipping points. Instead, we must catalyse positive tipping points, especially in restoring nature which is one of our major allies in tacking climate change.”

Climate Fascism. From the full statement

These include a collapse of deep water formation in the Labrador-Irminger Seas triggering abrupt climate changes that reduce food and water security in northwest Europe and West Africa. Particularly alarming is the risk of collapse of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC), which would plunge northwest Europe into prolonged severe winters, while radically undermining global food and water security. The Amazon rainforest is also at risk of widespread dieback from the combined effects of climate change and deforestation.

There have been contradictory statements from “scientists” on the collapse of the AMOC. Again, they’re cutting down the Amazon for the road to COP30’s meeting place.

To achieve such targets we join the COP30 Presidency in calling on governments to enact policies that help trigger positive tipping points in their economies and societies, which generate self-propelling change in technologies and behaviours towards zero emissions. We also support the Global Mutirão initiative to catalyse collective action from civil society to help trigger positive tipping points to achieve common climate goals.

Again, Government. This is not science, as I’ve been noting since 2004.

Mr teach continues his obsession with a non-existent entity, namely global warming. Mr trump ended it with Executive Orders! Similarly, religionists of all stripes are used to following commands by supreme, if imaginary, beings.

Mr trump may be stoopid but he is real.

The body count in Texass is increasing dozens of young girls. Fortunately global warming is a hoax.

Earlier you said it was Trump’s fault that all those people drowned.

      1
Flash flooding is the #1 natural disaster threat to Central Texas. I can personally testify to this since I was stationed at Fort Hood for several years in the mid 70’s.

      2
Texas holds 6 of the 12 highest rainfall amounts ever recorded in a 24 hour period in the entire world.

      3
Three states including Texas lead the nation in flood-related damages almost every year.

      4
According to a Blue Ribbon Study, in the 14-year period from 1986 to 2000, Texas had 4,722 flash floods.

Having also lived in Bryan/College Station teaching at Texas A&M I can tell you that every year we had flooding and this was pre 1982. Long before C02 became a thing.

Global warming is not a thing. What is a thing according to 100’s of geologist studying the ring of fire surrounding the Pacific rim is the amount of heat being pumped into the Pacific Ocean creating a heating effect that drives El Nino’s of increasing strengths. These El Nino’s target Texas and the USA while at the same time causing droughts in other parts of the world.

I would never say that additional co2 could not contribute to the rise of super powerful El Nino’s but those who know but are afraid to say, would contribute most of the strength of modern day El Nino’s to the increasing power of the ring of fire in the Pacific basin.

Always to instantly be challenged and gaslighted by “oh no its CO2 and we must rid the planet of Exxon if we ever want to be safe again.” Trust me….if Exxon thought Green Energy was the wave of the future the planet would be covered with Solar panels and windmills. To steal a line from the LANDMAN.

Yes part of my chores is to digest thousands of bits of information from around the globe on a weekly basis up to and including dialogue from cultural Iconic Movies and TV from many nations.

So while I feel for these people who lost their lives, I also can assure you that global warming is a hoax but climate change is real, driven but something that only very slightly is exacerbated by co2 and as the planet warms the amount of Water Vapor in the air rises which is the far and away number one reason for a warming planet.
