    Wacko conservatards are comparing Big Donnie’s luxury jet to the the US accepting the Statue of Liberty.

    In 1877, consistent with our corny and archaic Constitution, the naive President Grant signed a joint resolution of Congress accepting the gift from France. Big Donnie has never shown any understanding of our Constitution, which doesn’t apply to him.

    The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) is a US federal law that prohibits bribery of foreign officials. Enacted in 1977, the FCPA aims to prevent U.S. companies and individuals from making corrupt payments to foreign government officials to obtain or retain business. It also requires publicly traded companies to maintain accurate books and records and internal accounting controls.

    Just another of those pesky regulations strangling businesses!! U.S. companies (e.g., Trump Inc) can now legally bribe foreign government officials to gain favorable competitive positions.

    The CEOs of Coca-Cola, Amazon, NVidia, Tesla, Blackstone, Black Rock, IBM, Citigroup etc are with Mr Trump as he makes his rounds in the middle east.

    President Trump is in Doha, Qatar, on Wednesday after a swing through Saudi Arabia that saw him securing billions in economic and military investments between Washington and Riyadh.

    In a signal of thawing tensions, Trump met and also praised the new Syrian president, Ahmad al-Sharaa, ahead of a Gulf Corporation Council meeting alongside the Saudi crown prince and the Turkish president, who joined by phone.

    He’s a “young, attractive guy,” Trump said. “Tough guy. Strong past. Very strong past. Fighter.”

    Creepy. He was previously associated with Al qaeda. That is tough! Big Donnie is removing sanctions against Syria. Alhamd al-Sharaa suggested Trump Inc build a luxury hotel in Damsacus!!
