Artist Uses Skeletons To Push Climate Scam Doom

I haven’t been checking that hard over the last week regarding the cult using Halloween to push their dogma, but, I hadn’t really seen much till now

Lowell artist uses Halloween skeletons to explore climate change, loss and hope

Halloween skeletons are usually meant to frighten us. But in a new outdoor art installation in Lowell, artist Christina Cervantes uses them to explore a different kind of fear: the accelerating loss of the natural world.

“Not Dead Yet. Earth” is a temporary environmental art installation combining oversized skeletons, statues, atmospheric lighting, music, trees and hand-painted and scorched signage to tell a story about ecological destruction, grief and the possibility of renewal.

The installation unfolds in three acts, beginning with a sense of danger and environmental loss, moving through an acknowledgment of what we hold dear, and ending with an invitation to connect with your community and protect and restore the living world.

Its messages are deliberately simple: “We thought we had more time.” “Some things are worth holding onto.” “The future isn’t dead yet.”

Rather than offering another list of environmental catastrophes, the installation asks visitors to consider their own relationships with nature and the choices available to them.

Those pieces look like they involve a lot of plastic made with petroleum which was surely shipped with fossil fuels. And all the energy use. The kids must be thrilled with this unhinged cult display

“Climate change is scary, but we’ve solved scary problems together before,” says Cervantes, a former environmental chemical engineer. “I wanted to create something that acknowledges what we’re losing while reminding people that there’s still so much worth protecting, and so much more we can do.”

What are we losing? Nothing different than previous Holocene warm periods, and, really, it is the cool periods which have been worst for Mankind.
