Narrative Fail: Washington Man Arrested For Arson

Yet again, a wildfire is arson

Washington man arrested on arson charge tied to devastating Spokane wildfire

A Washington state man was arrested Monday on a first-degree arson charge in connection with the Old Trails Fire, one of several wildfires that have destroyed hundreds of structures and forced tens of thousands of people to evacuate the Spokane area, authorities said.

Aaron F. Farinacci, 37, was taken into custody after Spokane County Sheriff’s Office detectives and Washington Department of Natural Resources investigators developed probable cause to arrest him, according to the sheriff’s office.

Citizen tips and information from Airway Heights police officers and Spokane County sheriff’s deputies who responded to the initial call and conducted evacuations helped lead investigators to Farinacci, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities described Farinacci as a convicted felon from Arizona but said they had found no documented criminal history involving fires.

They were blaming this all on ‘climate change’. I guess not. Of course, now they’ll just say the fire was “made worse” from the climate crisis.

So, he’s a wacko that should probably be in jail, but, nutters in Arizona let him go.

The three fires had collectively destroyed at least 700 structures and prompted evacuation orders affecting approximately 67,000 people as of Monday, according to The Associated Press. More than 1,000 firefighters were battling the blazes.

Many people are wondering about the area where it was started, which is near where a data center was going to be built, and we know how Democrats have been scaremongering against them, going well beyond opposition.

Teach is taking the big money/pro data center position?
I do not have the same trust in silicon intelligence as Porter does.

  2. Alias says:

People place little blame on “climate change” for forest fire ignition.
People may blame climate change hot the conditions that promote severity of wildfires.
Porter tries to join the two ignition and severity.
Typical strawman argument. Only effective on those with low critical thinking dkills

  3. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Porter uses a strawman argument to attack global warming! (The fallacy of setting up a phony, weak, extreme or ridiculous parody of an opponent’s argument and then proceeding to knock it down or reduce it to absurdity with a rhetorical wave of the hand.)

Everyone but Porter and other climate change deniers understand the difference between ignition and propagation of a wildfire. Actually, Porter knows but pretends. He’s a propagandist.

“Wildfire ignition is the initial spark or start of a fire (lightning, autos, cigarettes, campfires, arson, electric wires), while propagation is how the fire spreads and moves across an area. Ignition requires a heat source, fuel, and oxygen, whereas propagation is driven by weather, topography, and continuous fuel.”

The guy “shot and killed his father because he didn’t want to do the dishes?”

    Whoa!
