On the other hand, TX AG Paxton is a tRump mini-me!! He cheated on his wife, is corrupt, abused hia office, and was charged with felony securities fraud. He was impeached by the Texas GOP House (20 articles!!) in 2023, acquitted by the state Senate, and cleared of corruption by King Donny’s DOJ in 2025!
Kenny pressured his staff to intervene in legal difficulties of Nate Paul, an Austin real estate developer and Paxton donor in exchange for home renovations and a job for a woman with whom Paxton was having an extramarital affair! How “Donny” is that??
After reporting his conduct, the “disloyal” whistleblowers were fired or forced out. In 2025, a Texas district court awarded the former aides $6.6 million, ruling they were improperly terminated.
After taking office in 2015, Paxton was indicted on state felony securities fraud charges for allegedly misleading investors prior to becoming Attorney General. After dragging on for nearly a decade, the case ended in a pretrial agreement in 2025. Paxton avoided trial and a conviction by completing ethics training, performing community service, and paying restitution, after which the charges were officially dismissed.
His former wife, state Senator Angela Paxton, filed for divorce on biblical grounds, citing adultery. Reports alleged Paxton used aliases and burner phones to conceal the affair.
Paxton faced professional misconduct lawsuits from the State Bar of Texas after leading a discredited, unsuccessful U.S. Supreme Court lawsuit to overturn the 2020 election results in other states. No wonder Big Donnie loves Little Ken!!
In contrast to Big Donny, Little Ken has NOT been accused of rape or pedophilia!! So far. In fact Ken and CA AG Kamala Harris cooperated in shutting down TX based backpage.com for running ads promoting prostitution, including of accusations of underage girls.
Mr Talarico, a Presbyterian, was born in Texas, whereas Little Ken, an Evangelical “christian”, was born in North Dakota.
The uber-corrupt Paxton opposes abortion, immigrants, Muslims, women, LGBTQs, Democrats etc. So regardless of his criminal, amoral past, he’s a MAGA favorite!!
It appears that Mr Paxton is not the greatest guy around personally, but his stated policy choices are the important things.

Had you read the linked article, you’d know that Mr Talarico is a seminarian with the Presbyterian Church USA, a very much 1970s ‘progressive Christianity’ denomination which supports all sorts of things that actual Christians do not: unlimited abortion access, legitimized homosexuality, and transgenderism for minors. That’s why the Presbyterian Church of America splintered off and is growing, while PCUSA continues to shrink.
All of the ‘if it feels good, do it’ Christian sects are shrinking, while the more conservative ones, including the Catholic Church, are growing, because people not only want communion with God, but they also know that God left us rules for being good people, and the far left denominations have abandoned those. The Church of England, which His Grace King Henry VIII had such a profound theological reason to begin, had a huge advantage in numbers on Old Blighty, but now has actually fallen below the number of Mass-attending Catholics. That they just ‘elevated’ a priestess to become Archbishop of Canterbury is simply more rot.

Adam Dean Hoffman, a former Waco-area attorney, was initially indicted on first-degree felony charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child, facing up to life in prison.
After a June 2025 trial ended in a hung jury, the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (which took over after the local DA recused himself) dropped the felony charges. Hoffman pleaded guilty to two Class A misdemeanors: indecent assault and displaying harmful materials to a minor. He admitted to molesting the child who was 8-10 years old at the time.
The original plea agreement suggested just one day in jail. Visiting Judge Roy Sparkman rejected this and ultimately doubled a revised 30-day term to 60 days. Under the plea agreement, Hoffman was not required to register as a sex offender.
Hoffman was released from the McLennan County Jail on May 25, 2026, after serving 29 days of his 60-day sentence. For raping a young boy for 3 years. It pays to have the AG for a friend.
