The same nonprofit that WROTE the law that gave them the money ALSO got the contract to run “community outreach.”
Same guy runs the nonprofit AND the program. Chris Walker. Two paychecks. Look it up.
And their SISTER organization — same building, same staff, same donors — is a 501(c)(4) that endorses Democrat candidates and runs door-knocking operations in the EXACT SAME NEIGHBORHOODS.
Taxpayer money essentially going into the pockets of friends, family, and donors, then a portion kicked back to elect politicians. Mostly Democrats. And this isn’t like so many of the scams, where 20+% is at least spent on the intended mission, no, this is 7.2%
And not one journalist in this state asked a single question until @jennyraeca and CAL DOGE pulled the receipts.
They probably still do not care. This is not new. It goes back to reporting in February, yet, the California media is still quiet.
Our parish center needs a new roof. Hardly surprising: the roof is 24 years old. While we could make it another few years, we have the money right now to do it.
We have solar panels on the roof, that also date from 2002, and they have saved us money. However, to install that new roof, we will have to pay an additional contractor $7,000+ to remove the panels, and then reinstall them after the new roof is installed.
This is the kind of cost that homeowners who have solar systems installed, something the Pyrite State mandated on new construction, don’t consider. When the house needs a new roof, there’s a big additional cost.
Is this the 10 year program? If they spent $72 million year one on solar systems for the poor wouldn’t that be about 72%?
