Climate news is written in a language most people can’t understand
In the summer of 2023, more than 19,000 people were forced to evacuate as wildfires swept through Yellowknife, the capital of Canada’s Northwest Territories. Emergency alerts were issued in French and English, but not in the nine Indigenous languages that are recognized as official languages in the territory, forcing some Indigenous families to rely on friends, radio broadcasts, and social media for critical information.
So more leftist white knighting, thinking that the Indigenous in Canada do not understand English or French? Why do leftists always think “minorities” are stupid and incapable?
A new white paper argues that the lack of translated disaster warnings is emblematic of a much broader problem: Climate change information, from emergency alerts to scientific research, is overwhelmingly produced only in English. The research, published by Climate Cardinals, a youth-led climate advocacy organization focused on language access, found that 80 percent of scientific papers are published in English, which is spoken by just 18 percent of the world’s population. The researchers argue that most of the world is excluded from the information needed to understand how climate change is reshaping the planet, including people in positions of power.
Well, it could be that those papers are written by first worlders who have the luxury to care about the climate scam in theory. Most of the 2nd and 3rd world are not exactly doing scientific investigation, you know?
“Language is not just about inclusion, but I think really determines what would count as climate reality,” said Jackie Vandermel, research co-director at Climate Cardinals. “Language is not just about who receives the information, but also what is allowed to even exist in climate governance.”
See? The problem is the language, not that the vast majority of Warmists fail to practice what they preach, showing it is all a lie.
The report puts particular emphasis on the need for Indigenous language translations, including in emergencies like those in Yellowknife. Indigenous languages, researchers note, are increasingly threatened not only by colonialism but also by climate change itself. Forced migration can sever ties to ancestral lands, making it more difficult to teach languages to new generations. At the same time, Indigenous languages embed detailed understandings of local ecosystems and weather not captured elsewhere. Indigenous peoples are also disproportionately exposed to climate impacts, like melting Arctic ice and Pacific typhoons. The result can mean that Indigenous peoples face heightened climate risks and get less access to relevant information while struggling to preserve languages that could be critical to fighting climate change.

But yes, conquered people should have to learn at least the rudiments of the languages of their conquerors. That, in the end, is part of being conquered. I’ll note here that the conquered people of the United States almost all seem to speak “Englsh”.
We’ve celebrated that “Navaho code talkers,” Navaho Indians who spoke in their native languages that the Japanese just couldn’t translate, as an unbreakable code in World War II. Yes, that worked well, but it only worked because the “code talkers” could also speak and understand English, to communicate with American Naval personnel.
And our own English language has elements of Old English, but it’s mixed with German and Norman French, the latter having conquered England in 1066.
There’s an old joke that General Dwight Eisenhower said something about Americans and our British allies speaking the same language, to which his (alleged) mistress, Mrs Kay Summersby, replied, “You only think we do.”
The noted Mr Dana has long advocated for the rights of conquerers, but then he is an admitted white christian nationalst, i.e, a MAGA.

The so-called Native Americans came across the Siberia-Alaska land bridge and filtered down and across the continents. Among the things they are noted for is human sacrifice, slavery and cannibalism. Their societies/cultures ranged from hunter gather tribes in the north to feudal kings and peasants groupings in the central and south.
Everything was cool until the southern Europeans arrived. The southern Europeans were aggressive, had better weapons, including germs that the NA’s had never been around before. The result was conquest, settlement and a feudal society based on what they had in southern Europe resulting in land owners with peasants huddled around the Catholic Church. But the NA’s were better off. No slavery, no cannibalism and no human sacrifice.
Basically, nothing has changed to the south. They have gone from weekly revolutions to establishment of failed socialism experiments…Venezuela doesn’t have toilet paper or antibiotics and Honduras is the murder capital of the world. Their exports are bananas and people…..who have flooded into America to the tune of 11 million or so. When called out they riot and fly Mexico’s flag and demand the right to vote. They seem determined to establish what they, or their parents, fled from. Poverty, chaos, crime and dictatorship.
Later the northern Europeans arrived to the north. They were no better to the NA’s than their peers to the south. But they did have one thing the southern Europeans didn’t have. Budding democracy. They had the Magna Carta. The powers of kings were finite and the people were to have a voice.
“We the people….” Became real.
None of this is pretty. The NA’s lost. What the Europeans found were people who couldn’t, or wouldn’t, defend the land that they had taken from the previous owners.
We now find ourselves on the same page that was the Aztec’s. Do we want to defend and hold this land, this civilization, or do we want to surrender to the flood of people from the south and the flood of Muslims Obama and Hillary imported from the east?

They did nothing as terrible as the Native Americans! Except for the occasional Russian gulag, the Inquisition, burning “witches”, Civil War, WWI, WWII, the Crusades, gassing & baking millions of Jews in ovens, slaughtering the Native Americans, enslaving Africans, depletion, pollution, global warming, nukes…
And OMG, the U.S. is about 1-2% Muslim! And 20% Hispanic! 13% Negro!!
