Judges Reject DOJ Request to Detain Leftist Protesters Accused of Invading Minnesota Church
Two judges blocked requests from the Department of Justice (DOJ) to detain three of the leftist protesters accused of invading a Minnesota church.
According to NBC News, U.S. District Judge Laura M. Provinzino issued an order regarding Nekima Valdez Levy-Armstrong and Chauntyll Louisa Allen, while a “federal magistrate judge” ordered William Scott Kelly, another protester, be released.
Judge Provinzino claimed that DOJ lawyers did not “demonstrate that a detention hearing is warranted, or that detention is otherwise appropriate.”:
U.S. District Judge Laura M. Provinzino wrote in her order for two of the protesters, Nekima Valdez Levy-Armstrong and Chauntyll Louisa Allen, that Justice Department lawyers failed to “demonstrate that a detention hearing is warranted, or that detention is otherwise appropriate.”
The judge found the Trump administration offered “no factual or legal support” to support their contention that this was a “crime of violence.” The third protester, William Scott Kelly, was separately ordered released by a federal magistrate judge.
On the other hand, the Biden DOJ had no problem getting Democrat judges to keep those who were utterly and completely non-violent from the J6 protest, people who simply were present and/or walked quietly through the halls of Congress, The People’s House, after guards opened the doors, and left quietly. Why the difference? Because we all know that these same leftwing activists will go right back to their in your face “protesting”, doing the same stunts like they did with the church.
But, legally, yeah, they aren’t violent, and the law is the law, and this is, seemingly, the right legal call. Except when the Biden DOJ and left wing loon judges are involved and they need to throw Grandma Wendy from the Midwest in solitary.

After all, Biden Federales detained Jan 6 **miscreants for merely attacking Capitol Police officers, injuring only about 150. Can Moonbat William verify how many peaceful Capitol “visitors” were detained untl their cases were adjudicated (formal judgment made)? We understand that MAGAts consider storming the Capitol to delay or stop the certification of the 2020 vote was a mere kerfuffle or party gone overboard, by just a little. The injured Capitol officers, the families of the dead Capitol Officers might disagree.

Our Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that, except for rare occurences, government officials MUST have a warrant, signed by a judge, to break down your door and fuck with you or your stuff.
Should the 4th Amendment apply to all people? Or are some people less equal than others?
