Oh now Mayor “Small” Frey is whining for help from the National Guard because there are only 600 MPD policemen. (300 quit after the George Floyd riots because Walz wouldn’t back them up.)

If they hadn’t told the Federal officers to leave the MPD wouldn’t have been overwhelmed by the peaceful protestors.

Now they’re blaming the Feds for leaving.

Facts

On January 24, 2026, federal agents shot and killed a 37-year-old man named Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. The shooting occurred during an altercation when Pretti approached Border Patrol officers while armed with a handgun. The situation escalated, leading to the use of deadly force.

All the rest is supposition.
