The remarkable kinship between christian fundamentalism and MAGAtism resides in their mutual reliance on “vertical morality” – i.e., morality based on an authority – a god, a politician or a cult figure.
This contrasts with “horizontal morality” based on empathy for others.
For the rare christian who reads their bible, read Genesis 22:1-12. A voice tells Abraham to slaughter his son and burn him as a burnt offering! And Abraham was going to stab his son to death!! Most normal humans would not commit such an immoral act, yet this is an important lesson in christian obedience!!
For those who practice “horizontal morality” they would consider the human rights of the son and not slay him!

Typically, neither a zygote, embryo or fetus is considered an “infant”.
Prenatal means “before birth”. So yeah, “prenatal infanticide” is nonsensical. Perhaps try “feticide”?
Father Nature commits “prenatal infanticide” at an astounding rate – killing up to half the “infants” before the expectant mother even knows she’s expectant! And before modern medicine, the often brutal, amoral process of evolution killed off a lot of mothers during childbirth and the actual infants during the first year.
The huge head of human babies (for that big brain) was in an evolutionary battle with the narrow hips optimized for upright bipedalism (freeing the hands for tool use, carrying infants, better vision, improved endurance)!! It’s why human females have those lovely wider hips than males.
Amoral evolution just doesn’t “care”.

Because we have Sunday Mass early, 9:00 AM, our Bible study/catechism lessons occur after Mass.
