At what point will Big Donnie cut bait on his Minister of War, Little Peter Hegseth? Everyone recognizes that Hegseth is suited to the job.
Now, it comes out from his own book, The War on Warriors (2024), that Little Peter told those under his command under his command while serving in Iraq to ignore legal advice regarding the rules of engagement!!
Peter has continued to express disdain for military lawyers, who advise on the laws of armed conflict: He referred to top military lawyers (Judge Advocates General, or JAGs) as “roadblocks” to a commander-in-chief’s orders and “jagoffs” in his book.
In February of this year, Peter fired the top uniformed attorneys for the Army and Air Force, saying they were not “well suited” for their roles.
Now, he’s blaming a Navy Admiral for murdering two survivors from another legally questionable attack on a boat in the Gulf of Mexico. Man up, Little Peter!

Only Congress can declare war, but post-WWII the executive branch (Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia/Kosovo, Venezuela, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New Orleans etc) has been engaged in wars spending trillions of USDs and killing 10s of thousands of American soldiers.
