The Department of War has received serious allegations of misconduct against Captain Mark Kelly, USN (Ret.). In accordance with the Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 688, and other applicable regulations, a thorough review of these allegations has been initiated to determine further actions, which may include recall to active duty for court-martial proceedings or administrative measures. This matter will be handled in compliance with military law, ensuring due process and impartiality. Further official comments will be limited, to preserve the integrity of the proceedings.
The Department of War reminds all individuals that military retirees remain subject to the UCMJ for applicable offenses, and federal laws such as 18 U.S.C. § 2387 prohibit actions intended to interfere with the loyalty, morale, or good order and discipline of the armed forces. Any violations will be addressed through appropriate legal channels.
All servicemembers are reminded that they have a legal obligation under the UCMJ to obey lawful orders and that orders are presumed to be lawful. A servicemember’s personal philosophy does not justify or excuse the disobedience of an otherwise lawful order.
Obviously, someone made a complaint regard the stupid video, and Kelly should have known better. Perhaps checked the UCMJ before participating in the stupid video due to TDS and taking the side of drug runners.

I am against this sort of thing for several reasons.
1. Kelley is a democrat and as such everyone already knew he was a liar and a traitor to his country. it is pointless to cry about it now. It is patently unfair to prosecute him for something that every other democrat in the country is doing openly.
2. On principle, I don’t like the idea of the DoD calling back retirees just to prosecute them unless their crime happened while they were on duty. Even then, most military crimes are also civilian crimes and I don’t want my national defense dollars being squandered running a penal system except as absolutely required for military specific crimes, like crimes committed on the battlefield.
3. I really do want the DoD to focus their efforts on national defense and not fart around in DoJ territory.

Mark Kelly is a United States Senator, a Navy combat pilot (39 combat missions during Operation Desert Storm as a U.S. Navy A-6E Intruder pilot and experienced anti-aircraft fire and a missile explosion near his jet during combat), an astronaut (commanded 4 Space Shuttle missions), a devoted husband and father. Don Piggy and Lil Peter Hegseth are piece of shit rapists compared to Kelly.
On June 21, 2011, Kelly announced that he would leave NASA’s astronaut corps and the U.S. Navy effective October 1. He cited his wife, Gabriel Giffords, needs during her recovery as a reason for his retirement. Can you imagine Don Piggy staying with a wife disabled by an political assassin? (The assassin was a schizophrenic gun nut and Gabby Giffords hater). 19 people were shot and 6 died.
He is clearly ten times the men and patriots that Don Piggy and that other rapist, Peter Hegseth, are.
I hope Don Piggy lives long enough to spend his last years in prison.

You make much of Mark Kelly’s military service, as if that somehow absolves him of his current behavior: Trying to get the military rank-and-file to defy the President.
Yet you completely ignore Pete Hegseth’s military record, which includes having served in combat zones including Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay, having earned two Bronze Star Medals, the Combat Infantryman Badge, and other military honors. Instead, you libel him as a “rapist” based on nothing more than your syphilis-addled imagination.
You don’t respect military service. If you did, then you’d give Hegseth the same benefit of the doubt as you do Kelly.
