Boston Will Soon See An Immigration Enforcement Surge

This will surely give Boston (unhinged) Mayor Michelle Wu a big case of the apoplexies

Trump admin plans immigration enforcement surge in Boston

The Trump administration is preparing an immigration enforcement blitz in Boston in the coming weeks, according to a current administration official and a former administration official.

The latest plans, which could still change, would involve a surge of Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel and represent the latest Democratic-run city to be targeted by President Donald Trump.

The Trump administration has frequently clashed with Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, and criticized the city’s so-called sanctuary policy — which limits local law enforcement’s cooperation with federal agents looking to arrest and remove undocumented immigrants.

The clampdown could come soon after a similar surge in Chicago in September, the former official and current official said. But the operations could also happen concurrently, the administration official said.

“The highest degree of national security and public safety concerns are in sanctuary cities,” White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller told reporters on Friday. “So without getting into specifics, and revealing any operational details, the president has been clear repeatedly that we’re going to be prioritizing enforcement in these sanctuary jurisdictions as a matter of public safety and national security.”

Again, I still wish that immigration enforcement would surge into GOP towns, get the illegals out first. Let the sanctuary cities deal with the crime, costs, and 3rd world mentalities on their own for awhile.

Flooding Boston with immigration enforcement officials would represent the latest escalation in the administration’s campaign against Democrat-led cities, and, following action in Los Angeles and Washington, would continue to blur the lines between the military, policing and immigration enforcement across the country.

Um, Politico: there are laws against people being in the U.S. illegally. Trump is actually enforcing laws passed by duly elected Congresses.

Democratic Gov. Maura Healey’s office declined to comment, and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s office did not respond to a request for comment.

Oh, I’m sure they will soon start getting all big and bad about this, telling Trump he’s not wanted and ow they support illegal alien (murderers, rapists, and child abusers).

We look forward to the days when calling a company will not result in a computer voice droning, “Press one for English, or two for Spanish.”

The illegals in smaller towns are the ones who are assimilating into American culture more thoroughly. Assuming that President Trump and then President Vance are unable to expel all of the illegals in our country, the ones in smaller towns are the ones I’d rather managed to stay, because they are the ones who are trying to become actual Americans rather than congregating in crime and poverty stricken barrios.

The ever optimistic Mr Teach believes Mr trump is motivated by immigration policy. He is not. Miami, Dallas and Houston are in the top 10 US cities with sizable undocumented populations. Go get ’em Donnie!!

Donnie is intentionally conflating urban crime (DC, LA with Chicago and NYC on tap) with his obsession with the undocumented.

Mr Dana is correct that small town migrants integrate well with their neighbors. A very popular resident of Kennett MO was picked up in April and jailed.

Carol Mayorga, whose legal name is Ming Li Hui, had been in ICE custody since late April, when she was detained during what she thought was a routine meeting with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office.

During that meeting, ICE officers shackled the mother of three and transported her via van to Phelps County Jail in Rolla, Missouri, and eventually, over a month later, to Greene County Jail in Springfield, Missouri.

Mayorga fled Hong Kong at age 20 after saving up enough money working as an assistant manager at a McDonald’s. She legally entered the U.S. in 2004 with a nonimmigrant visa to escape abuse from her mother and a culture that did not value women, she would later tell an immigration court. Fearing a return to Hong Kong, she stayed past the expiration of her visa, (her lawyer) said. In 2008, she received a deportation notice from an immigration court and, according to court records, conceded that she was in the country illegally before turning to asylum and other avenues as a way to avoid returning to Hong Kong.

Mayorga lived in the U.S. under an order of supervision and an employment authorization document that allowed her to work legally in the U.S. It was set to expire in January 2026.

ICE released her from jail early June, but may still be deported. The law is the law!
