NY Times Goes All Satan And Fall Of Man For European Climate Doom

I wonder if NY Times Warmist Jason Horowitz even understands the meaning of Paradise Lost?

Paradise Lost is an epic poem by John Milton that was first published in 1667. The poem explores the biblical story of the fall of man, focusing primarily on the rebellion of Satan and the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. Amidst the cosmic struggle between God and Satan, the poem delves into themes of free will, disobedience, and the consequences of sin. Milton’s work is richly layered with classical allusions and theological reflections, showcasing his profound knowledge of literature and theology. The intricate narrative unfolds in twelve books, and Milton employs blank verse, a non-rhyming iambic pentameter, to give the poem a majestic and elevated tone.

I also wonder if he took a fossil fueled trip in order to “report from Barcelona, Spain”, considering he is stationed in Rome

It’s Paradise Lost as Climate Change Remakes Europe’s Summers

Not so long ago, families coming to the shore in Montgat, Spain, just outside Barcelona, built sand castles, played paddle games and lounged around on the broad band of sand that was the picture of the European summer vacation. But now in some places, there is hardly enough room to put down a towel.

“From here to there,” said Sofia Mella, 19, as she pointed far out to sea, “it was all sand.”

Climate change is changing Europe into a summer paradise lost. Across Spain, Italy, Greece, France and beyond, sand-devouring storms, rising seas, asphyxiating temperatures, deadly floods and horrific wildfires have year after year turned some of the continent’s most desired getaways into miserable locales to get away from.

Well, stop the idiots from starting wildfires. The Med has basically been rising since the end of the last glacial age. Before than the Atlantic was too low to fill it, and creatures walked on the sea floor, hence why elephant bones have been found on the sea floor. It’s why there are all those salt mines. And, really, asphyxiating temps? Fearporn much?

As southern Europeans dream of fjords, the traditional hot spots and fixtures of travel agency package deals no longer seem so desirable. This past week, even though temperatures broke across much of the continent, experts and officials warned that the next heat wave would come soon, endangering vulnerable locals and making tourists question what they had gotten themselves into. Even activists seeking to free their cities from the scourge of overtourism saw no silver lining to the brutal conditions.

People go to hot spots because they are hot.

“It’s hell,” said Daniel Pardo Rivacoba, who lives in Barcelona, and who spoke for a group fighting overtourism — and its climate-change fueling flights. He saw the scorching sun not as an ally to keep the tourists away, but as a common enemy that will melt them both.

It really is a cult.

Global warming denial IS a cult!! But chill out! Let those you slur as “warmists” type their fingers to the bone. Little will be done to slow warming – certainly little by the U.S.

Mr teach is wrong, and opens himself up to earned ridicule, so why bother?

    • fp says:

ED whined: “Mr. Teach is wrong… so why bother?”

And yet, here you are. Time and time again. It’s like you can’t stand dissent when it comes to “global warming” — as if your precious “consensus” is going to fall apart under the slightest scrutiny.

You know who else can’t stand dissent? That’s right: cultists.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

If the global warming denier cult had an argument, rather than just denying facts, we might pay attention to you. That’s not dissent, that’s denial.

We get it – you don’t favor the steps necessary to slow warming. That’s OK! That is actual dissent! And you’ve won!!! trump barely won, but he won, and is dismantling the apparatus for slowing warming. So why are you still whining?

But the warming Earth will continue to warm, and it’s CO2 driven.

You know who denies the truth? That’s right: cultists.

        • Jl says:

Nope-it’s allegedly CO2 driven. Fixed it for you.
And what “facts” are being denied? This should be good…..

Speaking of Satan, Mr trump spoke to a faith group today…

Trump was “expected to explain why the White House Faith Office is so important to his agenda,” and “encourage business leaders to help the Trump administration, specifically on programs concerning foster care and adoption, fatherhood initiatives, poverty alleviation, substance abuse and prisoner reentry.”

    But it’s trump, so…

Trump warned that if Republicans don’t stand together “and make the economy strong…you’re gonna literally have perhaps a depression, where you people so rich, so beautiful, so nice to look at, will be totally busted. And let’s see how long your wife stays with you, your beautiful — she’ll stay with you for about three weeks and she’ll say, ‘Darling, I can’t take you anymore. I can’t take it anymore, darling, I’m leaving you’.”

The President also denounced his indictments and impeachments.

“Indicted five times, impeached two times, all BULLSHIT, right?” he told the group. “Oh, terrible stuff, and I got impeached for making a perfect phone call.”

Sounds like he’s afraid the economy is tanking (it is) and that Melania will dump his ass!!

All international flights have for 8? Years have had their tickets charged 2% extra to pay to carbon offset their carbon pollution.offsetting carbon pollution from burning fossil fuels is NOT as expensive as critics think. Mr Teach WAS trying to frighten us using inflammatory language such as “skyrocketing electric costs” but after repeatedly being told that that in the USA the avg national cost increase over the last 20 years since green energy has become increasing used, the cost increase has averaged only 2% increase each year. And, do not forget, generation is usually 1/3 the cost of residential electric cost.
Mr Teach apparently is unaware of that, preferring to stay inside of his own comfort bubble
Big jets burn about 5gal per mile at cruise which equates to about 80 miles per gal per passenger seat

    • Jl says:

Johnny-hairy-smith…and what does that “carbon offset” do? It does nothing to decrease the evil CO2 you’re all afraid of. Remember, even your Godfather James Hansen said “offsets” were irrelevant.
