Bummer: BBB Set To Mess With Climate Cults Justice Drive

I guess this really isn’t about “fixing” the climate

‘Big Beautiful Bill’ Set to Slash Through U.S. Climate and Justice Drive

In the end, President Donald Trump’s giant tax and spending plan rocketed past both fiscal hawks and social moderates in the House with no changes on Thursday.

The $4 trillion One Big Beautiful Bill Act is now ready to reach across the U.S. economy, slicing into every aspect of the national effort to address climate change and environmental injustice.

The 887-page legislation largely erases the landmark investment in cleaner energy, jobs and communities that a Democratic-led Congress made only three years ago in the Inflation Reduction Act.

It stomps out incentives for purchasing electric vehicles and efficient appliances. It phases out tax credits for wind and solar energy. It opens up federal land and water for oil and gas drilling and increases its profitability, while creating new federal support for coal. It ends the historic investment in poor and minority communities that bear a disproportionate pollution burden—money that the Trump administration was already refusing to spend. It wipes out any spending on greening the federal government.

Certainly, the BBB isn’t the most fiscally responsible bill, but, I’m loving what I am reading about killing off the federal government climate scam crap.

The bill also rescinds the Inflation Reduction Act’s Environmental and Climate Justice Program, which provided grants for community-based initiatives in disadvantaged communities.

That was all a scam for liberal authoritarianism. Glad it’s going away. Now, if Warmist states want to do things in their own states, have at it. If Warmists want to practice what they preach, and spend their own money, have at it.

This is for what I voted!

Thanks to President Biden’s initiative, there will be a whopping 47 EV charging stations built in the Bluegrass State.

There are 120 counties in Kentucky, and large swaths of the Commonwealth have nothing planned.

There are a lot of older homes in eastern Kentucky, with just 100 amp electric service, and I’ve even seen one recently which had two 40 amp fuse boxes to provide service. You cannot install a 220-volt overnight charger in such homes, so it should be no surprise that such people wouldn’t buy an EV. Not only would they have to buy and install the charger, but they’d have to hire a real electrician to upgrade their electrical service. EVs would make great second cars . . . for urban dwellers.

Could Congress and trump have stopped “green” spending without gutting rural hospitals, depriving millions of health insurance, rewarding millionaires and billionaires, all while adding trillions to the debt?

On the bright side he’s pwned the libs and kicked “illegals, muzzies, fags and trannies” in the arse!!

There’s no doubt that the Big Bad Bill could have been better, had it completely repealed Obysmalcare, and ended welfare.

Our cekebrating fascist ftom Fayette forgot to recommend ending Social Security and Medicare (the largest welfare schemes on Earth. Ever).

I would allow those people entering the workforce to opt out of Social Security and Medicare if they chose, but those of us who have worked all of our lives have paid in to Social Security and Medicare; we shan’t be robbed.

            @ Dana,
You WERE robbed. Appealing to the thief to give it back is not going to work. Neither will standing on your moral authority. One does not correct a Ponzi scheme by forcing more victims into it. As you suggest though, the first step is no new victims. But as long as the current victims expect to be paid back, (and they universally do: WE PAID INTO IT), the only source of that payback is more victims, either through the existing payroll taxes or taking it from the general fund using magical thin-air money or other taxes. Perhaps they could tax the SS payments at 100% then you are in effect paying yourself instead of robbing others to make yourself whole. As long as yesterday’s victims insist on robbing their children and grandchildren to pay back the money stolen from them, there is no hope of fixing this.

Off the top of my head, the USA could sell off assets (real assets, not bonds) to pay the victims. The gov owns a whole lot of land out west they could sell. They could also sell the mineral rights. They could sell Puerto Rico to Spain or the Virgin Islands to Disney. The people who created this scheme knew what they were doing when they started it. The people in it today all insist they are owed this.

Welfare? Gee, I remember deductions from my paychecks for those two programs.

More like for dwellers in the sub-urbs and wealthy rural areas. In urban areas, people don’t own driveways or garages so there is no place to hook up a charger or even park a vehicle overnight other than on the street or a rented parking space.
