How is it “extremely difficult”? Isn’t every entry visa recorded on computers? Can’t those computers be programed to alert ICE when the visa is about to expire? Every passport used for entry has to go through Customs, even if the holder has nothing to declare; computers ought to be programmable to record this information and crosscheck everything.
Every airline ticket leaving the United States is entered into computers, and this information can be cross-checked to see if a visa holder has left.
The problem isn’t that it is “extremely difficult, but that visa overstays “have not historically been a priority for enforcement.” Barack Hussein Obama and Joe Hussein Biden certainly were not all that interested in enforcing our immigration laws, but Donald Trump can and should change that.
