Did president trump give any of the $148 MILLION invested in $TRUMP by his 220 crypto investors to the U.S. treasury? They got to meet the Don at his Virginia golf resort.

So Rimjob what happened to that $75M invested in your company, Galera Therapeutics?

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

        Pissant,

It’s my understanding that a company I founded nearly 20 years ago and left a few years ago recently merged with another pharma coumpany and has two breast cancer clinical trials ongoing, oee at Mayo and one at U Texas.

Investors in small pharma understand the risks. The investments go toward salaries, consultants, materials, supplies and suppliers, rent, insurance, collaborations with other companies, universities and hospitals, clinical trials (which cost many millions each!!).

        Thanks for your interest!!

So what was the reason the stock price went from ~ $18 down to 2 cents/ share?
How come your company Galera Therapeutics never posted a profitable quarter in all those years you were there???

            Pissant,

As you should know, research and development (R&D) technology companies cannot turn a profit until they develop a product, which usually takes several years. Early investors, e.g., Angel Investors, founders, start-up funds (often public-private funds) and smaller venture capitalist funds support start-up tech companies until larger Private Equity Funds like Blackrock, Blackstone, Sofinnova, big pharma etc want to capitalize on the reduced risks. Anyway, the company went public about 5 years ago. The company received a Complete Response Letter from the FDA in 2023, following the completion of the Phase III XXXXX trial.

The FDA communicated that the results from the Phase 3 XXXXX trial together with the supporting data from the XX-xxx trial are not sufficiently persuasive to establish substantial evidence of avasopasem’s effectiveness and safety for reducing severe oral mucositis in patients with head and neck cancer. FDA stated that results from an additional clinical trial will be required for resubmission.

A Phase III cancer trial costs at least $40 million.

            BTW…

Tesla first became profitable in the first quarter of 2013, reporting a profit of $11 million. This was the first time in Tesla’s 10-year history that they had turned a quarterly profit,

“I have answered three questions, and that is enough… (back off, and) don’t give yourself airs!
Do you think I can listen all day to such stuff? Be off, or I’ll kick you downstairs!”
            (h/t to Charles Dodgson)

          • drowningpuppies says:

So now Rimjob is blaming his company’s (Galera Therapeutics) falling stock share prices on the FDA?
And what does Tesla have to do with that?

My Lil Pissant must be especially lonely today. If I ignore his taunts for a couple of days he brings up some extraneous BS, LOL. He’s in love!!

            He is desperately stupid.

What part of, “Be off, or I’ll kick you downstairs!”, do you not understand.

            Buh bye, knucklehead, LOL.

My Lil Pissant is obsessed with me – he’s my own personal cyberstalker!! Any time I “tan his hide” on an issue, he gets frustrated and lashes out.

    Trump Always Chickens Out!

Ahead of a federal hearing over Harvard University’s ability to enroll international students, the acting director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued a letter Thursday giving the school 30 days to challenge the administration’s revocation of that certification.

Pastor John Pavlovitz in male loneliness… directed toward the incels and the women who ostracize them! Occasionally one snags a female after his money or who is pathologically insecure and meek.

The entire MAGA movement is rooted in the most toxic of masculinities; perpetuating knuckle-dragging, emotionally-fetal, alpha male posturing; a culture of relentless aggression that rewards the crass, coronates cruelty, and celebrates sexism.

There isn’t a great deal of investigative work necessary, to draw the line from this kind of prehistoric, morally-stunted male ideology, to a generation of young men who can’t seem to figure out why women avoid them and why none of the other dudes give a shit about them.

The cause and the cure are staring MAGAts in the mirror.

If American parents want to inoculate their sons from a lifelong lonely existence, they need to stop raising them to be narcissistic, misogynistic assholes.

    Guys,

With the coming civil war do you recommend the Sig Sauer MCX Spear MCX 7.62×51? It’s expensive ($4K) but the round does penetrate most commercial body armor. It’s comes with a 20 rd mag.

Or is the classic AR-15 suitable? Like the Daniel Defense? The tactical pump shotgun is best for up close encounters. Of course, the Glock 47 sidearm.
