Buffett criticizes Trump’s tariffs rollout, says US shouldn’t use ‘trade as a weapon’
Buffet argued that balanced trade is good for the world

Yes BALANCED trade is good for the world. However, the USA is NOT SHARING IN BALANCED TRADE and in fact is funding this trade while BUFFET makes billions and now the poor old man who is worth like 240 billion bucks is pissed that he can’t figure out what to do. That is why he has sold and sold and sold and now has 100’s of billions of dollars in cash instead of invested.

He is a pussy. Wah, wah, wah. Trump wants fair trade for America which is upsetting the WORLD FEASTING on AMERICAN CAUCUSES of companies that used to mean something.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Conservarians do not understand trade where one party buys something they need from another party who possesses that something.

The US has a coffee deficit. A cocoa deficit. We have a cheap electronics trade deficit. But we sell more arms to middle east allies than we buy from them. We export a lot of fossil fuels, autos and parts, heavy equipment, machinery, pharmaceuticals, soybeans and corn.

Are trade deficits bad? They can be. But the US economy (especially during Dem control) stays strong. In fact, it’s the leading economy in the world (for now)! Our biggest economic problem is the accumulation of resources in the hands of fewer and fewer Americans. Working class rewards are much more modest.

The worst (47) and next worst (45) president in history believes tariffs amount to easy money for the the US government paid by the exporters!! The higher prices are paid by the importers and consumers. Donnie even said the tariffs (paid by consumers!) could eliminate the Inncome Tax!!! Mein Gott!!

      Trump has to go.

  2. Elwood P. Dowd says:

The Supreme Court ruled that under 8 U.S.C. §1229c(b)(2), deadlines falling on weekends or legal holidays extend to the next business day. The majority cited a longstanding administrative interpretation in immigration regulations that excludes weekends and holidays when calculating deadlines.

It was 6-3 with Thomas, Alito and Barrett dissenting.
