Study: Kids Do Not Pass Bat Soup Virus To Adults

So, let’s close all the schools and playgrounds

From the article

London: No child has been found to have passed coronavirus to an adult, a review of the evidence in partnership with the Royal College of Paediatrics has found.

Major studies into the impact of COVID-19 on young children suggest they “do not play a significant role” in spreading the virus and are less likely to become infected than adults.

While experts insist that more evidence is needed, they note there has not been a single case of a child under 10 transmitting the virus, even in contact tracing carried out by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Public health officials in Switzerland have announced that under-10s can hug their grandparents again because they pose them no risk.

Now a review in partnership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) has found the evidence “consistently demonstrates reduced infection and infectivity of children in the transmission chain”. (snip)

While he said that it was possible children could infect others, there had not been a case to date and there was “no evidence that closing schools is an effective measure”. Further evidence from China showed when families had contracted the virus, children were “unlikely to be the index case”.

Early on, we knew that kids weren’t really having issues with Bat Soup. The only ones with issues already had underlying conditions. So, why lock them down? Sure, just in case. But, we keep learning more and more. There’s no reason to keep all this going full bore. It is just one study, but it adds to the growing body of evidence. Keep the schools closed, the parents have to stay home.

  1. Elwood P. Dowd says:

from the article on the Trump Plague: Professor Russell Viner, the president of the RCPCH, said: “From around the world we are not seeing evidence that children are involved in spreading or transmitting the virus but we do not have enough evidence.”
But he said it was too soon to say children could hug their grandparents, particularly as over-70s are the most vulnerable group.

So right-wingers huddled in their houses are ready to use schoolchildren, waitresses, hairdressers, stockers, nursing home workers and store clerks as fodder in their war against reason. Typical.

Realizing that no Connie has ever taken the remotest interest in education, why is it important for the GOP to get kids back to school? So that at any cost, mom and dad can get back to teaching, grilling, waitressing, hairdressing, stocking shelves, caring for the aged and ringing up sales at the cash registers, which benefits all except those teaching, grilling, waitressing, hairdressing, stocking shelves, caring for the aged and ringing up sales at the cash registers, and of course children.

Although school-age children seem to not get as sick as adults, is there evidence they do not shed the virus once infected (hint: they do shed the virus). Is there any evidence of long-term sequelae from infected children e.g., kidney disease, liver damage, lung damage, neurological damage (yes). And what about children with diabetes or asthma, will you give them a pass?

You don’t give a shit about anything but trump.

      Non sequitur.

It’s the Demos that want to close the schools and keep them closed.

Talk about a war against reason.

Funny he says this. It’s all the Lefty educators and teacher unions that have been writing articles about how “dangerous” So that at any cost, mom and dad can get back to teaching, it is the kids are at home with Mom and Dad (if they’re so lucky).

It’s called making a living and those people Jeffery called teabagging, astroturfed, Charlottesvilling, boogalooing, fat, white boys are parading around with their toy guns ’cause tyrants! have to pay the bills. Funny how Jeffery likes to call them teabagging, astroturfed, Charlottesvilling, boogalooing, fat, white boys are parading around with their toy guns ’cause tyrants! and the next he calls them teaching, grilling, waitressing, hairdressing, stocking shelves, caring for the aged and ringing up sales at the cash registers heroes the next.

Unless he wants another stimulus with checks signed by Donald Trump.

It’s called talking out of both sides of your mouth and it’s the mark of a liar.

      and of course children.

      It’s always for the chil’run.

Another riff on socialized medicine. He’s doing it for the chil’run. So we’re all supposed to stay out of work for years while all these sequels (who ever wrote his little screed wanted to show off) are tested.

Fact is, large segments of the population are asymptomatic, so it’s a good bet if kids were included, they’d be asymptomatic, too.

That’s not good enough for Jeffery. He wants trillions spent on a condition that doesn’t even exist.

      Mr Debt, that is.

And I see the bear suit is back. Means even he realizes he’s losing.

Except the ones Zeke Emanuel wants to let die.

And, as if we weren’t having enough fun,

straight from the “experts” at the CDC

Elwood’s dreams are coming true in the Soviet State of Oregon.

“In a daily report dedicated to news updates and guidance for county employees fighting the coronavirus, an Oregon county in the Portland area said it was creating a safe “grounding space” for minority staff to escape a predominant “whiteness.”
The April 5 “situation report” from the Multnomah County Office of Emergency Operations Center announced that the “Emergency Operations Center Equity Officer is hosting a grounding space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) employees to share, heal, connect, and get grounded in a space that is not dominated by whiteness.”

See, because blacks have a higher rate per capita of underlying morbidity therefore they are more apt to get and/or die from Red Chineses Flu it’s now a raaaaacist disease and they want to heard blacks into areas so they can infect each other. Gotta love the attitude of leftists. Hate and anger is all they got.

Trump 2020 stop the lefts hate and anger.

Wrong assumption, Children do pass on Covid 19, I have a TA aunt and a caretaker uncle who both worked at the same school and got Covid from Spanish holiday returnee children. They might not pass on as much as an asymptomatic adult spreader – or for as long, but have several hundred in an assembly hall and that inoculum goes straight up. After being infected what you get depends on your age – both were nearly at retirement, and your health – my uncle has allergies etc.

They live in the UK in Cheshire, we are not releasing the careers of those who are most/worst affected – but we do have at least one primary schoolteacher who went public on the BBC. We wont have the figures till the ONS does the data collation releasing the non NHS ones next year. So yes, junior individually is unlikely to pass on the bug statistically, but being in the presence of 300 – 600 schoolchildren means at least one of them will pass it on, and since there is no long term immunity, keep passing it on much like nits but with fatal consequences for parents and staff . Think less risk management and more Russian Roulette. Thats why schools are closed. https://www.thepiratescove.us/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

So I still have to ask all you hiding in the bombshelter people. Since there is no immunity and no vaccine how long do we hide?

Is the bottom line WHEN YOU RUN OUT OF FOOD?

When you start starving to death is that when its time to come out of the bunker?

One kid gets covid-19. He spreads it to his 30-40 year old mom and thats reason to hide until doomsday.

You guys are fuking insane. We are all gonna starve to death.
