Do you guys think trump was chosen by god for this job? Do you get your superiority syndrome from feeling your part of the chosen people?

As an agnostic I have little experience with the metaphysical beliefs of evangelicals. Are you attempting to make your heaven on Earth just as the Islamists keep trying?

    • Liljeffyatemypuppy says:

Little sissybitch exceptionally nasty today but unimaginative as usual.
Guess that’s what losing does to a person…

  2. Elwood P. Dowd says:

    from FOX:

“Meanwhile, the president’s job ratings are increasingly negative in the shooting aftermath, as 59 percent say Trump is “tearing the country apart,” compared to 31 percent who feel he’s “drawing the country together.” Two years ago it was 56-33 percent (August 2017).

Sixty-five percent of Republicans and 54 percent of conservatives think he’s drawing the country together, while 92 percent of Democrats, 74 percent of non-whites, 59 percent of independents, and 53 percent of whites say tearing the country apart.
Overall, 56 percent of voters disapprove of Trump’s performance, up from 51 percent in July. Record numbers of men (53 percent), white men (46 percent), and independents (64 percent) disapprove. His disapproval rating has only been higher once: 57 percent in October 2017.”

And this is before the economy goes cold.

    • Kye says:

Wow! You mean after three years 24/7/365 negative media coverage, an attempted coup, constant threats of impeachment, negative TV and movie personalities, and a boatload of shit from every commie advocacy group on the planet Trump’s ratings went down? I’m stunned!

But we all know rating go up and ratings go down. Exactly which one of the Democrat clown candidates do you believe will beat Trump? Hmmm? Give us a name. Spartacus? Kameltoe? Fauxcahontas? Bernie The Red? Buttpeg?

Why would you want the economy to “go cold”? Do you like Bill Maher want to see Americans starve in the streets so you can win an election? Why not use that as a campaign ad? “We Hope You Starve So You’ll Vote Democrat”

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

trump is a greater threat to America than a recession.

We’re in the tenth year of a growing economy; trump taking credit for it all. Do you think he’ll take credit for the recession?

Sorry, I don’t recognize any of those names. It’s likely that any Dem will trounce trump in 2020. Americans are sick of the unstable trump.

        • formwiz says:

No, we’re in the third year of the recovery. Zippy had us at 1.6.

And there’s no recession except in your fevered brain. Drudge trumped that up.

It’s just as well you don’t know any of those names because none of them have a chance in Hell of beating him.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Median GDP growth was 2.2% for President Obama and 2.6% for trump. Whoopee! And Mr. Obama was working from the Great Recession. Trump cut taxes on the rich and the corporations and stimulated the economy with massive spending.

How does a president with the greatest economy evah, have a 44% approval rating?

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

So trump is not responsible for his own lack of popularity?

        Attempted coup? Hardly.

Bill Clinton was actually impeached and was unpopular with the press and especially the right wingers. Yet, Clinton’s AVERAGE job approval was 55%. trump has never had 55% approval.

Clinton won the popular vote both elections. trump has not and will not win the popular vote.

Over 50% of Americans don’t like trump.

        • formwiz says:

Considering how much we know about how polls can be skewed, what the Fake News themselves called his unbelievable poll numbers were probably just that.

In any case, Willie never took the popular vote, either.

43% in ’92 and 49% in ’96. Look it up.

God, it’s fun tripping him up on the easy stuff

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

We didn’t claim that Mr. Clinton won a majority, only that he trounced George H.W. Bush and Bob Dole. God, it’s fun tripping him up on the easy stuff.

Mrs. Clinton didn’t win a majority but did win the popular vote.

He has two arguments – FAKE NEWS! and IS NOT!

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Are you really arguing that Bill Clinton didn’t get more votes than Bush and Dole?

“Winning the popular vote” means getting more votes than your opponent. Because of third party candidates sometimes the winner doesn’t get over 50%.

For example trump garnered 46.1% and Mrs. Clinton received 48.2% So Mrs. Clinton won the popular vote handily, but lost the Presidency because trump was able to narrowly win a few key upper Midwest states.

    • formwiz says:

Exactly whose numbers are we using?

If it’s Fox, you’re making an even bigger fool of yourself than usual.

The Fox poll has always been a joke, even in the days of Ailes.

And, if that shot about the country going cold is about the so-called recession Drudge was trying to drum up, you’re really drilling a dry hole.

  3. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Working class Americans are beginning to realize that trump was never on their side.

“At issue is a deal gone bad between Trump and North America’s Building Trades Unions over a Labor Department apprenticeship initiative, the politics of which have grown more complicated since last month’s ouster of Secretary Alexander Acosta. Leaders of the union federation worry that the final version will undermine their own job-training programs and create a supply of cheap labor for developers, undercutting high-skilled construction workers who rely on prevailing-wage jobs to make ends meet.”

Labor unions are remarkably adept at mobilizing voters.

    • Kye says:

hat’s why labor unions not within the government have all but died out. What labor unions do remarkably well is price jobs out of the market and screw businesses and consumers alike.

BTW, who was the last Democrat Communist who was on the side of “working class Americans”? ll you clowns do is call us names, increase taxes and regulations costing jobs.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

And the rich get richer and poor get poorer, every year.

Union bashing is one reason. Of course, as a nation we continue to lower the bar so that our working classes are fighting for scraps competing against low-wage workers in other nations. Business owners love it, lower labor costs, more profit. And the rich get richer and poor get poorer.

In serving their corporate masters, Republicanism (even Democratic Republicanism) is killing off the US working class.

Even in the best economy evah, wages are only creeping up. But rich folks and corporate profits are doing great!

Our policies have been shifting any increases in productivity from the workers to the owners, and the effects are coming home to roost. That’s one reason trump was elected. He’s betrayed the working classes.

Can trump afford to lose any more voters?

        • david7134 says:

          Jeff,
Great comment. You exhibit you delusion and paranoia all in just a few sentences. Much of your anger and hate could be quelled if you would just take a few moments to read and learn about the variety of topics that you are so confused. Really education would ease your soul.

        • gitacarver says:

And the rich get richer and poor get poorer, every year.

          Factually false.

          Union bashing is one reason.

You mean the unions that effectively lower the wages of people?

Of course, as a nation we continue to lower the bar so that our working classes are fighting for scraps competing against low-wage workers in other nations.

Yet you advocate for more illegal immigrants that will take the lower wage jobs. Tell us all Elwood, if the market is $8.00 an hour for a janitor, does your company pay $20 an hour? That’s rhetorical, of course because we know you don’t do what you demand others do.

Even in the best economy evah, wages are only creeping up. But rich folks and corporate profits are doing great!

Wages are going up. Only someone like you would be against people making more money in their pockets which is why you always advocate for higher taxes and are against tax breaks that affect all people who pay them.

It is amazing the amount of hate the left has for people. They hate the poor, they hate the middle class, and they hate the upper class.

All the left has is hate.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The right exists on hatred and cruelty. Cruelty is the point.

Do you have evidence that labor unions lower the wages of their members?

It’s a lie that I advocate for more illegal immigrants. Anyway, our gov’t puts our workers in competition with over a billion Chinese and Indian workers.

You don’t know what our company pays our colleagues; you’re just making shit up, as usual. We’ve noticed you like to make your criticisms personal rather than about ideas. Very Alinskyesque! Do you know we don’t do what we ask of others? How do you know that?

America has institutional policies that work to shift money from the workers to the wealthy.

Macroeconomist Dean Baker explains this in one of his books:

            https://deanbaker.net/images/stories/documents/Rigged.pdf

          • gitarcarver says:

The right exists on hatred and cruelty. Cruelty is the point.

And how much more cruel is the left that wants to keep people impoverished, tell them they are victims and that all they can do is hate?

It’s a lie that I advocate for more illegal immigrants.

So you want closed borders except for those who bring skills into the US? When did this shift take place? The same time when you started rocking the lie that you and the left don’t want to take away all guns?

You don’t know what our company pays our colleagues; you’re just making shit up, as usual.

Yet you didn’t refute it, did you? You have always been a person who demands of others what you will not do. You once said on here that your company pays custodial help minimum wage. You ranted about raising the minimum wage, and nothing holds you back from paying people a higher wage if you want, but you won’t do that because it means more money in your pockets.

America has institutional policies that work to shift money from the workers to the wealthy.

Macroeconomist Dean Baker explains this in one of his books:

You must have missed the chapter on patents and copyrights in the medical / drug industry allegedly adding to higher costs.

Saaaaaaaaay, that’s what your firm does, isn’t it? You use copyrights and patents on drugs to make money.

You wanted proof of you saying one thing and doing another? Welp, there it is.

All you’d have to do is vacate the patent on drugs from your company and go forth from there.

Instead, you won’t and will talk about what others do and yet “brag” about the large amounts of money you make and the amount of taxes you pay.

You hate so much that you are blind to your own hypocrisy.

When all you have is hate, that’s what can happen.

    • formwiz says:

      They are?

Most working class Americans, as well as middle class Americans are just glad they have a job.

And the unions are at low ebb. Did you know a majority of states are Right To Work?

  4. formwiz says:

“Winning the popular vote” means getting more votes than your opponent. Because of third party candidates sometimes the winner doesn’t get over 50%.

No, you lie. You said he won the popular vote. In American politics, that means 50% or better. It’s why he was called the 43% President.

God, it’s fun tripping him up on the easy stuff.

Mrs. Clinton didn’t win a majority but did win the popular vote. For example trump garnered 46.1% and Mrs. Clinton received 48.2% So Mrs. Clinton won the popular vote handily, but lost the Presidency because trump was able to narrowly win a few key upper Midwest states.

No, fraudulent votes don’t count. And how narrowly you win a state doesn’t matter in the Electoral College.

He has two arguments – FAKE NEWS! and IS NOT!

    No, just one. Facts.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The IS NOT!! argument. Very powerful.

Commenter typed: “No, you lie. You said he won the popular vote. In American politics, that means 50% or better.”

The commenter is full of shit, and is gaslighting.

Will he cite an expert supporting his contention?

We figured him out long ago; he blusters, lies, gaslights, bullies, but never adds any valuable info.

            Jeff,
I have looked at several of your comments. I notice that you are so upset about the plight of the poor. Then you are all supportive of people entering our country in an illegal manner. Do you realize that the illegals take the jobs of American citizens and that they reduce the cost of labor? Your principals are at odds.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Maybe ask trump. With his “MBA” from Wharton he should be able to find it.

Do you think everybody had forgotten about that?

Wrong on Wharton, wrong on popular vote, wrong on voter fraud, wrong on most Americas happy with trump, wrong on GDP growth… what else have you lied about. (Hint: everything).

We figured him out long ago; he blusters, lies, gaslights, bullies, but never adds any valuable info.

          • david7134 says:

            Jeff,
I am sure you agree that whether Trump won the popular vote or not, the country is much improved with him in office. From what we have learned and continue to learn about the corruption of the Clintons and Obama, we are lucky to have Trump reversing the projection of our country and lives. The country is getting richer. People are employed. The future is brighter. The Democratic or communist party is dying. In short we are winning. MAGA.
