New restrictions have stripped Medicaid coverage from certain legal immigrants, including refugees and victims of human trafficking, as part of broader federal changes to the health insurance program that are expected to force millions off their coverage.

The change effective Oct. 1 cut from Medicaid what is estimated to be hundreds of thousands of people who legally immigrated to the United States, many of whom work and pay taxes, in the latest Trump administration policy to target foreigners. (snip)
Advocates say that without Medicaid, people will not be able to afford private insurance and will either delay care or end up in emergency rooms, adding pressure to a strained health system. For immigrants, the cuts could be felt more acutely, compounding the effects of other administration efforts to restrict their access to public assistance as part of a broader immigration crackdown.
Well, hey, they could go back to their own home countries.
“This is about telling every immigrant in the United States that they are not welcome here and that they should leave,” said Ben D’Avanzo, a senior strategist at the National Immigration Law Center, which has pursued litigation against the Republican administration over its immigration agenda.
Refugees, asylum seekers, victims of human trafficking and domestic violence are among those who have lost coverage. Green-card holders were not impacted.
Those “asylum seekers” are mostly illegal aliens who won’t end up qualifying for asylum. And the rest simply make claims to try and stay. And green card holders should really have to pay for themselves. Dumb enough we have “permanent residents”, but, they shouldn’t receive government benefits like this.
Lauren Bis, a White House spokesperson, said in a statement that “immigrants must be able to support themselves without taking from overburdened benefits programs paid for by hard-working American taxpayers.”
Anyone on a visa or applying for citizenship are required to be able to pay for themselves, so, why not all the rest? Better yet, go elsewhere. The rest of the article is just a sniffles article.
The right-wing of both political parties has historically hated all immigrants. Irish ,Italians,Germans,Eastern European Jews. Chinese Japanese all were hated for the same reasons that Teach hates the refugees coming here now.

Oh no! So, the “huddled masses” won’t be able to automatically receive unlimited medical care at taxpayer expense for whatever malady they suffer from when they criminally entered the country?
Officially maybe, but I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that they’ll just continue to clog every ER and urgent care clinic coast to coast exactly as they’ve been doing for decades and it will all be on our dime.
And we’ll continue to be told that Americans are spending more on healthcare than everyone else combined because of it.
And so it goes.
Good news. They can all still access the health care systems in their home countries. Many can even qualify for better benefits in the EU. The Trump administration is so cruel, they should all immediately seek asylum in Canada and Mexico to escape tyranny, terrible economic conditions, and systemic racism, as well as to escape from criminal gangs terrorizing them in our cities. Being in America is intolerable for them. They should leave immediately for their own well-being.
