While I agree that churches should be taxed, Christians have been fundamental in social movements in America – for causes central to both liberals and conservatives.
Christians led abolition and civil rights. The Temperance movement. Industrial era safety and health reforms. The Catholic Church has pushed against abortion and gay rights.
You don’t really believe protesting against government policy should be punished by the feds do you?

Should we trace back the heritage of all so-called U.S. Americans to determine when THEIR ancestors reached America? For example, Donald Trump’s grandfather, Friedrich Trump arrived in the U.S. (fled from Germany to avoid conscription – it’s in the Trump genes) in only 1885 (which is AFTER the Civil War). Yikes. My family is much more U.S. American than the Trump klan! Most Black U.S. Americans trace their American ancestry to BEFORE the Civil War!!
I say we must deport all so-called U.S. “Americans” who cannot trace their lineage to before our Civil War!! The entire Trump klan would end up in a Salvadoran prison (Germany won’t take them).
