Why do Republicans (aka MAGAts) hate mail-in voting?
1. For people who’re paid by the hour, mail-in voting increases participation because they can fill out their ballots at the kitchen table after work. Republicans don’t want people to vote, and have introduced more than 400 pieces of legislation in the past three years nationwide to make voting more difficult.
2. Mail-in voting makes voters better informed and less vulnerable to sound-byte TV ads because, while perusing that ballot at the kitchen table, they can look up candidates on their laptops and get more detail and information. Republicans hate informed voters and rely heavily on often-dishonest advertisements to swing voters.
3. Because they arrive in the mail weeks before the election — mail-in gives voters an early chance to discover if they’ve been the victim of Republican voter-roll purges, one of their favorite tactics to pre-rig elections.
MAGAts (aka Republicans) hate democracy for the simple reason that they are a minority movement. Authoritarianism is the je ne sais quoi of modern conservatism – this ill-defined “feeling” that conservative, caucasian christian men are superior and must be followed. Daddy knows best! They feel they have all the answers, and if the ‘great unwashed’* don’t understand that, well, the con-men will just have to take over!!
Of course, the MAGAts whine incessantly that they can ONLY lose an election by others committing fraud.

* The ‘great unwashed’ references those residents who are improperly ‘educated’ about the obvious positive attributes of conservative, caucasian christian men. All great societies – Roman, Greek, British, French, American – emerged from conservative, caucasian christian men! Sometimes, in the course of human events, strong men must step forward and take the reins of a society. Now is such a time! Donald J. Trump is that strongman!!!
