Good Grief: Democrats To Probe Trump’s Future Presidential Library

You thought Democrats freaking out and suing over things like renovating the East Wing and the East Potomac Golf Links?

Trump’s $950 Million Library Plan Faces Congressional Probe

President Donald Trump is expected to devote greater attention to his presidential library during his final two years in office, as the project attracts tens of millions of dollars from corporations and political allies while facing the prospect of congressional investigations, CBS News reported Thursday.

The Donald J. Trump Presidential Library Foundation, overseen by Trump’s son Eric Trump and son-in-law Michael Boulos, projects raising $950 million by the end of 2027, including $600 million next year, according to an October 2025 IRS application obtained by CBS News.

With Democrats poised to control both chambers of Congress in January following Tuesday’s midterm elections, lawmakers are promising increased scrutiny of the foundation’s finances.

“The donors bankrolling his personal vanity project will have to answer to a new majority in Congress,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., told CBS News.

Much of the foundation’s funding stems from settlements involving companies Trump previously sued.

Hence, Democrats will spend time engaged in extended Ultra TDS. But, hey, the more time they waste on this tilting at windmills the less time they have to screw up the country.

Republican Ballot Measures Were Victorious Across the Country. What Does That Mean for Republicans?

Tuesday night was nothing short of a blue tsunami, as I’m sure you need no reminder. But one of the more striking results was that even as Republicans lost, Republican-backed ballot measures, from voter ID to restrictions on transgender policies, across the country won. That should send a very particular message to Republicans heading into 2028.

While the country saw Democrat after Democrat win, majorities in Ohio, North Carolina, Nevada, Arkansas, Kansas, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Alaska backed ballot measures requiring voter identification or limiting voting to American citizens. In Arizona and Nebraska, transgender-related ballot measures also passed overwhelmingly. Voters in several states, even California, also overwhelmingly rejected tax increases.

That points to a distinction Republicans need to understand if we are to move forward effectively: last night was a referendum against Republicans, not an endorsement of Democrats. Dissatisfied Republican voters and independents weren’t suddenly embracing socialism or progressivism. They wanted a check on President Trump’s use of executive power and on policies that, although initially popular, became unpopular because of how they were rolled out. Kristi Noem’s handling of ICE raids is but one example.

No worries, the Republican Elites will screw it up, just like they have so much during this century.

Sometimes the best thing to do is relax, sit back, and watch the train wreck itself.

Crooked Donny and his crooked family need overight since their judgments tend toward the corrupt.

What are his “donors” getting in return? Valid question.

Just curious about how all that blathering about “affordability” has morphed into “get Trump and his supporters”.

Kinda has 30s NAZI ring to it.
