This is one of the most culty things I’ve read in a while, which is disturbing since it comes from what is supposed to be one of the best institutes of learning in the nation, Yale
Only about half of U.S. teens can correctly identify the causes of climate change
More than 80% of young people in the U.S. say they are worried about climate change.
Schifter: “Whether it’s going outside to play in extreme heat, or if it’s about the jobs that they’re going to be able to access in the future, the world that they are living in is being shaped by our changing climate.”
But Laura Schifter of the Aspen Institute says a recent survey that her group commissioned reveals that many teens do not fully understand the issue.
Only about half of the teens surveyed know that climate change is mostly caused by carbon pollution from human activities like burning fossil fuels.
And even fewer know that nearly all climate scientists have concluded that human activity is causing climate change.
100 % cult, 0% science.

More than 80% of young people in the U.S. say they are worried about climate change.

With the patron saint of the climate cult being Her Royal Highness St Grata of Thunberg being an idiot — she told us that we’d all be doomed by now — why ought we to expect her followers to be any smarter.
In the meanwhile, the news is that the European Union is now buying more natural gas and liquid natural gas from Vlad “The Impaler” Putin, despite the EU’s policy of weaning themselves off Russian energy. As Lord Eddard Stark said, “Winter is coming.”
The ignorant ED cult refuses to acknowledge the evidence supporting that human generated CO2 is causing the Earth to warm rapidly – Ten times more rapidly than the end of the last “ice age”.
Mr Teach ignorantly calls a 2.5 degree F increase “slight”.
Even Mad King Donny is throwing in with Putin, buying oil (with your tax dollars) in hopes of placating the voters.
You have no evidence, Rimjob, just outlandish accusations and ad homs.
If you had any valid evidence you would have presented it by now.
MAGA47 Motherfucker!
That’s because there’s no verifiable cause-effect evidence.
Last semester in my Oceanography class I was the only student out of 25 that had ever heard of or seen the movie An inconvenient Truth””
Where is the leftwing indoctrination that the rightwing has been screaming warnings about for decades?
Dana of course when you can not argue facts as a last resort you can attack the messenger(s) with ad hominem attacks. Doing so presents a weak argument. Ad hominem attacks are similar to tu quoque attacks “You also” which Teach is want to use when saying that the “youts” daily lives do not match 100% to their espoused values of carbon pollution reduction.
EVs? even Teach is now driving a partially electrified car. Apparently he has mastered his former fears of batteries ‘sploding
It now costs north of $160 to detain 1 migrant for 1 day. $5000 per month.
Should we do that or house 3 homeless vets ? Dana often has asked me why I do not house a migrant. Well, it would be in violation of my subsidized lease. Now I can ask him: why aren’t you housing homeless vets?
“An Inconvenient Truth”…

But Johnny-what are the “facts”?
Why would he expect people today to care about a video that was created before they were born? They don’t know who AL Gore was. Billions of YouTube videos and other media creations are more current, more interesting and not as dated with inaccuracies being exposed. Modern activism knows that the crisis needs to be 7-10 years away. Al Gore’s predictions were so long ago, that they have all had time to be proven false.
Alias might as well be astonished that none of the Children in his adult day care class had seen “The Quiet man” or “Metropolis”. In ten years, none of them will have seen “2012” or “The Day After”. In 20 years, perhaps the entirely of the climate hoax will be forgotten and humanity will have moved on to using those Trillions of dollars on something more productive besides lining the pockets of activists, politicians and staff at NGOs with connections to the Democratic party.
