Axios’ Josephine Walker probably thinks she’s on to something for Orange Man Bad, but, hey, this seems cheap
Trump deportations cost taxpayers $2,358 each
American taxpayers would pay about $2,358 each for President Trump’s mass deportation push, according to a new calculator tool from the Economic Policy Institute.
Why it matters: The estimate fuels debate over whether billions of federal dollars devoted to deportations could instead fund other public priorities such as food assistance, health care or housing.
By the numbers: EPI estimates the $268.9 billion projected for deportations could alternatively fund more than 118 million additional SNAP recipients over the remaining 2.5 years of the Trump administration, based on National Priorities Project data.
Alternatively, nearly 12 million additional people could receive Medicaid.
Or more than 9.7 million households could gain access to low-cost public housing.
Why, yes, EPI is seriously far left. Perhaps we’d have the money for that if we weren’t having to pay so much for all the illegals in the US, especially the 10 million plus that Biden let in? Not too mention all the fraud in the system.
What they’re saying: “I don’t think people realize how much money is being spent on these mass deportations,” Gordon Lafer, a professor at the University of Oregon’s Labor Education and Research Center and research associate at EPI, tells Axios.
How much do illegals, including all the TPS and fake asylum seekers, cost the US taxpayer yearly? One estimate is that they have a lifetime burden of $68,000, at a minimum. It’s something like at least $150 billion a year.
Washington, D.C., taxpayers could pay $3,930 each. That amount could instead fund SNAP benefits for 455,000 additional people, public housing assistance for 21,000 households or Medicaid coverage for 30,000 people.
In a small state like Connecticut, taxpayers could pay $3,395 per person. According to the analysis, that amount could alternatively fund SNAP benefits for 1.9 million Connecticuters, public housing assistance for roughly 181,000 households or Medicaid coverage for 186,000 people.
We might have that money if we weren’t spending all that money on illegals. That’s the part the illegal alien supporters do not get.

Compared to how much we’re paying to provide for millions of illegal immigrants, $2358 each to deport them is cheap.
You need a Social Security number to get any type of federal benefits
Nope. Just show up at any ER and EMTALA guarantees that you will get medical attention. Patients must at least be “stabilized” however if they are giving birth, double bonus for them.
Plus, do you really think it is difficult to get a SSN. Real or otherwise? Don’t be so obtuse.
Porter is confused: “Perhaps we’d have the money for that if we weren’t having to pay so much for all the illegals in the US, especially the 10 million plus that Biden let in?”
There is no verifiable evidence that President Biden let over 10 million in. Assuming MAGAts are correct that we have over 30 million “illegals” @ $2500 a head to capture, imprison and deport… Comes to at least $75 BILLION. That’s less than the Iran excursion!
Even “illegals” contribute more than they cost!

Undocumented immigrants pay billions in sales, property, and income taxes. Data compiled by groups like the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy show they contributed nearly $90 billion in taxes nationally in recent years.
Many use Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) or fake social security numbers to pay into Social Security and Medicare, often without being eligible to receive those benefits later.
Undocumented workers fill millions of critical jobs in labor-intensive industries like agriculture, construction, and hospitality, which helps lower consumer prices and supports overall economic growth.

MAGAts have created false economic arguments to rid their favored white, christian America of those filthy, lazy “illegals”!
That 2500 number is not factual.
It costs 160 dollars per day just to detain them
Wonder how much this will cost.
EVERY dollar spent on deportation saves countless dollars spent on welfare, healtcare and crime costs. It’s NOT EVEN CLOSE.
None of that is true. Even “illegals” commit serious crimes at a rate less than citizens.
Study after study show that immigrants ADD to the economy with their labors AND their taxes.
Why don’t we arrest the executives and hiring managers for their employment of “illegals”? Why do they hire them?? Is it just too unpopular to see white men and women frog marched out of their businesses?
Immigrants — legal + ill – totaling almost 48 million out of a population of roughly 335 million people — generated about $1.7 trillion in economic activity in 2023, according to an American Immigration Council analysis of the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey that year. They also paid roughly $652 billion in local, state, and federal taxes.
Biased bullshit survey from the Rimjob apropos of nothing.
Bwaha! Lolgfy!
MAGA47 Motherfucker!
And the heads begin to explode.
One decision — to deal with the illegal problem — has profound salutary consequences for Americans. Deporting illegals, whether legally or just changing the tone in America so that many leave on their own, will decrease the oversupply of labor, decrease demand for housing, and eliminate a criminal class that is responsible for huge amounts of crime!
Crime, housing, and employment! The three most important issues for Americans, and President Trump has a workable plan to improve all three. So the next time some pierced and tatted 20-something complains about not being able to afford a house or get a good job or live without fear of violent crime, tell him that Donald Trump has his back!
Bwaha! Lolgf!
MAGA47 Motherfuckers!
Just imagine: had that $2,358 been spent to deport José Antonio Ibarra, Laken Riley would still be alive.
Mr Ibarra entered the country illegally in September of 2022, where he was apprehended by federal authorities, but then just released into the United States. Once here, he committed several ‘minor’ crimes, but NYC officials released him before ICE could issue a detainer on him.
On February 22, 2024, he kidnapped and murdered Miss Riley. All of these things occurred while Joe Biden was President! Had Mr Biden and his minions actually enforced our immigration laws, and never allowed him into the United States, he could not have murdered Miss Riley. But no, the utter stupidity of the Democrats and the left now has our government paying for Mr Ibarra for the rest of his miserable life as he rots in prison, Miss Riley laying stone-cold graveyard dead, pushing up daisies from a hole in the ground, and our good friend Mr Dowd tells us that “Even ‘illegals’ contribute more than they cost!“
To the Rimjob the value of a White Christian girl’s life doesn’t count.
MAGA47 Motherfucker!>
Rod L, the MAGAt Motherfucker, values white christian girls (and boys!) above all others.
Keep trying, fat boy.
Keep failing.
MAGA47 Motherfucker!
True. Even “illegals” contribute more than they cost!
It’s tragic and a shame that Ms Riley was murdered by Ibarra.
Just as it’s a shame that Andrew Paul Johnson committed child sex abuse. He was sentenced to life in prison.
Alan Michael St. Onge punched a woman ‘in the throat’ after his sexual advances were denied.
Andrew Taake solicited a minor and was arrested on child solicitation charges.
David Daniel arrested for possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation of a minor.
Theodore Middendorf arrested for sexual assault of a child.
Kene Brian Lazo arrested for aggravated sexual battery of a child under 13.
Emily Hernandez sentenced 10 years for DWI causing death of another. Victoria Wilson, 32, married mother of 2, and a home health aid, died.
Dillon Colby Herrington indicted for First-degree rape.
Joseph Martin Pastucci indicted for Rape and sexual assault.
Edward Kelley sentenced to life conspiracy to murder law enforcement officers (FBI).
John Banuelos aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault.

What do these animals have in common? All are U.S. citizens. All committed these heinous crimes AFTER receiveng pardons for their Jan 6 violence. Donny was too lazy to pay attention to how dangerous many of his insurrectionist goons were. He gave all of them a pardon. It was just easier.
The distinguished Mr Dowd tries to deflect with “whataboutism”:
He then points out that the number of malefactors he lists are all American citizens, which is true enough, and that they were Capitol kerfufflers. So what? We can’t deport American citizens, and we can, and should, try and convict and imprison those who commit heinous crimes.
But that does not somehow cancel the fact that Señor Ibarra could have been prevented from killing Laken Riley had the Biden Administration enforced our immigration laws and kept him out of the country.
The pardoned kerfufflers? Almost all of them had been convicted, imprisoned, and had already served their sentences. If they committed crimes after serving their sentences, what could have been done?
Meanwhile, the illegal immigrants are committing crimes every day. It’s not just having entered illegally, or overstayed a visa; almost everything they do to survive in this country is in violation of the law, because even the supposedly good guys are breaking the law in order to work here. Most of the Capitol kerfufflers were convicted on a single misdemeanor charge, the maximum sentence for which is six months in prison — very few got that — and a $5,000 fine, while using fraudulent documents to work illegally is a felony, punishable by two years in prison.

Jul 14, 2025 — Rape Charges Dropped For Capitol Rioter Joseph PastuccA York County man pardoned for his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot is no longer facing rape charges after prosecutors dropped the case
How many more ????
Fine men, both.
The woman who made the allegations told police that Pastucci raped her in his home and wouldn’t allow her to leave. She said he had become increasingly controlling, frequently accused her of infidelity, and allegedly placed a tracking device on her car to monitor her movements. Pastucci told police the sex was consensual and claimed he took her car keys to prevent her from driving drunk. On July 7, 2025, the York County District Attorney’s Office filed a motion to nolle prosse all charges, stating that their office had been unable to reach the victim despite months of attempts. “Without the victim’s cooperation, the commonwealth cannot prove these charges beyond a reasonable doubt,” Chief Deputy District Attorney Rachel Sherman wrote in the filing.
Mr Pastucci was convicted of three felonies and eight misdemeanors for his Jan 6 actions and was sentenced to 26 months imprisonment, followed by 36 months supervised release, and a $2,100 fine.
Prior to January 6th, Pastucci had a extensive criminal record, which included:
1996 – Burglary (served 17 months in jail)
2002 – Reckless Driving (served 12 months in jail)
2009 – Harassing, Striking, Shoving, or Kicking a Person
Good for Mr Herrington! He had pleaded guilty for assHe was convicted of three felonies and eight misdemeanors for his actions and was sentenced to 26 months imprisonment, followed by 36 months supervised release, and a $2,100 fine.
Our illegal alien apologist wrote:
Was he still in prison when pardoned? His conviction came in 2024, but many of the kerfufflers were held without bail since their initial arrests, and he could have already served his sentence. The 36 months of probation would still have been active.
Money well spent. Hell, give ICE Billions, I’m good with that.
