Even if true, so what? The mortality rate in the U.S. was about 1.2% Nearly 1.3 million Americans died from Covid. Elected officials generally receive better care than average Americans.

Nixon Perez Paz, 43, and his wife, Glendy Gonzalez de la Cruz, 25, were found shot to death in a sugar cane field. Police found the couple’s 14-month-old daughter, Giovanni, lying beside her parents’ bodies. The infant survived, though she was severely dehydrated.
