The Canuck killer was more than just “gender confused.” The New York Times reported that the local police had made several mental health check stops at his house, and at one point confiscated the firearms therein. Perhaps they missed one?
Yeah, Jesse Van Rootselaar was delusional about his sex, but at least in his case, it was more than that: he was nuttier than a container of Planter’s Mixed Nuts. He had dropped out of school four years prior, which would have made him about 14 years old.
We’ve already seen claims that he killed people because he was triggered by some people not accepting him as a girl, but he also killed his mother, who was defending his ‘transition.’ We evil reich wing extremists and MAGAts caused him to go bonkers, don’t you know?
Whatever mental health care he needed, he didn’t get, even in Free Health Care Canada and liberal British Columbia. Of course, it’s entirely possible that no amount of health care could have helped him.
