If All You See…

The blog of the day is 357 Magnum, with a post on the UK vs freedom.

Not sure what happens overnight, but, I notice that some mornings the CPU use at the server spikes, as may the RAM, so I restart a bunch of times, and things suddenly are fine for the rest of the day.

    Thanks for the link…

I have been have problems – not on a server – with general garbage collection, so that memory usage runs wild, and then CPU. Sometimes killing the tasks and restarting them will suffice, but often a restart is required.

People just don’t do proper systems design anymore.

    Bwaha!

    https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2026/02/02/the-end-of-the-trump-epstein-hoax

Joe Biden sat on the Epstein files for four years. Democrats didn’t give a hoot about them not being released. Then, they turned around and spent the last year hammering Trump for supposedly delaying the release. The goal was clear. They wanted everyone to think he was hiding something to protect himself. No evidence ever backed that up. Make no mistake about it, Trump deserves the credit here.
He is the one who campaigned on releasing the files. He is the one who signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act into law. The whole mess has finally come to an end now that the Justice Department dropped the final batch of over 3 million pages on Friday.-n4949040

    What happened?

House sends funding package ending partial shutdown to Trump’s desk.

Lawmakers voted 217-214 to pass the compromise funding package, which cleared the Senate late Friday and keeps about 97% of the government operating through Sept. 30.

Twenty-one Republicans voted against the Trump-backed deal, but 21 Democrats crossed over for a bipartisan result.
