Attended a Antiochene Syriac Maronite Church service this AM, celebrating the 1st Communion of a couple of young relatives. The services are in both English and Arabie/Aramaic, since many of the adherents are of Lebanese extraction.
Many decades ago when I was studying at a Jesuit University nearby, we’d have lunch at that church for Lebanese food prepared by parishioners. Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Tabbouleh, Falafel, Lamb Kibbeh, Shawarma, Baklava, etc…
