Of course, all of the food stamps/EBT money would be restored if the Senate Democrats would drop the filibuster and allow the House-passed continuing resolution to come to a vote. But I will admit it: I love the fact that a portion of the government is shut down, because it demonstrates how non-essential some of it is. If the workers are not essential, they should not be brought back even after the CR is passed.
