Mr trump’s Federal prosecutors have failed to obtain a felony indictment against a man who was seen on camera hurling a sandwich at a federal law enforcement official in the nation’s capital, a person familiar with the matter told the Associated Press.
The case is one of the examples of the legal pushback to President Donald Trump’s law enforcement surge in Washington, DC, that has led to more than 1,000 arrests. It is highly unusual for grand jurors to refuse to return an indictment, and it was once said that prosecutors could persuade a grand jury to “indict a ham sandwich.” (but not a guy throwing a ham sandwich, LOL!!!)
A message seeking comment was sent Wednesday to a spokesperson for the top federal prosecutor in the District of Columbia, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro.

According to law enforcement officials, a suspect opened fire during mass at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning, shooting through the church windows while schoolchildren prayed.
Two children, aged 8 and 10, were killed in the shooting while 17 others – including 14 children – were injured.
