No one is actually surprised by this, are they?
Petition supporting illegal migrant trucker accused of killing 3 people gets 2.2 million signatures
More than two million people have signed a petition calling for leniency for an Indian illegal migrant trucker accused of killing three people in a crash in Florida.
Harjinder Singh, 28, faces three charges of vehicular homicide and up to 45 years in prison after he allegedly pulled an illegal U-turn on the Florida Turnpike on Aug. 12 while driving a tractor trailer — six years after he entered the US illegally.
Since his arrest in California, 2.2 million people have signed a Change.org petition calling for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to commute Singh’s sentence if he gets convicted.
“This was a tragic accident — not a deliberate act. While accountability matters, the severity of the charges against him does not align with the circumstances of the incident,” the petition reads.
It seems a lot of people signing this are Indian nationals. Maybe they should have their visas cancelled and sent packing
“It was an accident. he made a terrible mistake, not a deliberate choice to harm anyone. He was working hard to support his family, like so many of us, and one wrong decision changed everything. A 45-year prison sentence is not justice,” one commenter, Marvi, based in Sydney, Australia, wrote.
“45 yrs of imprisonment?? is it fair for a young boy who left his home country to have bright future, support family???” a second user based in Mississauga, Ontario, wrote.
Mind your own business in your own countries…oh, wait, you are most likely on visas there, too.
He just killed three people, and looks utterly unconcerned.

It was a tragic accident, in that the driver certainly didn’t intend to cause the accident, but it was also clearly negligent homicide, in taking a wholly illegal turn.
He wasn’t some ordinary Joe Schmuckatella, but a licensed Class A commercial driver, and the tests for those are much more stringent than what you take for a standard operator’s license. I’m old enough to remember when the Feds mandated the CDL over the older state licensing chauffer’s licenses, which I had in Virginia, “Now, only the best will drive” was the slogan! If I had been driving that truck, I’d be praying I could plead down to negligent homicide.
But because this idiot is an illegal immigrant, we have our good friends on the left pleading for leniency, for probation, for “restorative justice.” I’m not sure how “restorative justice” will bring the three victims back to life!
My suggestion is simple: three counts of negligent vehicular homicide, sentences to be served concurrently, and immediate deportation back to India upon release.
Prison for the driver and whoever signed off on his license.
