    Our Con-Man in Chief showed Repubicun Congressmembers a termination letter for Fed Chair Jerome Powell, suggesting that Powell has committed fraud, saying, “I don’t rule out anything, but it’s highly unlikely. Unless he has to leave for fraud.”

    What a worthless dickhead trump has become.

    Will he take all the gold bling in the Oval Office when he leaves?

    Trump said he was ‘surprised’ that Powell had been nominated to be chair of the Federal Reserve. ‘I was surprised he was appointed,’ Trump said. ‘I was surprised, frankly, that Biden put him in and extended him.’

    On November 2, 2017, President Donald Trump nominated Powell to serve as the chairman of the Federal Reserve, replacing Janet Yellen at the helm of the central bank.[40] On December 5, the Senate Banking Committee approved Powell’s nomination to be chair in a 22–1 vote, with Senator Elizabeth Warren casting the lone dissenting vote.[41] His nomination was confirmed by the Senate on January 23, 2018, by an 84–13 vote.[4] Powell assumed office as chair on February 5, 2018.[42]

    According to a The Economist/YouGov poll of 1,680 adults, 79 percent of Americans want all documents pertaining to Epstein to be released. Meanwhile, 67 percent believe the government is covering up evidence related to Epstein, including 59 percent of Trump voters.

    The entire Epstein brouhaha is likely BS. Do you suspect the administration regrets fomenting it? LOL.

    Delegates at the United Church of Christ’s (UCC) 35th General Synod overwhelmingly passed an emergency resolution this week, condemning the ongoing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids as “domestic terrorism” and accusing President Donald Trump’s administration of “weaponizing the Constitution.”

    The Catholic Church, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, United Church of Christ and this list of churchs..

    The Episcopal Church: Denounced the family separation policy and committed to protecting vulnerable individuals, including Dreamers and those with Temporary Protected Status.

    Evangelical Christian groups: While some evangelicals support Trump’s immigration policies, others have publicly expressed concerns and signed statements urging officials to assist refugees and advocating for more compassionate policies.

    Other Christian denominations: including the Presbyterian Church (USA), United Methodist Church, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Mennonites, Unitarian Universalists, Church of the Brethren, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Quakers and African Methodist Episcopal Church have also voiced opposition and participated in lawsuits challenging the policies.

    Union for Reform Judaism: This organization, along with other Jewish groups, has actively participated in lawsuits challenging the policies and emphasized the religious obligation to welcome strangers.

    HIAS (formerly Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society): This organization, dedicated to assisting refugees, has condemned the policies and highlighted the importance of welcoming refugees.

    More than two dozen religious groups are suing the federal government in response to the Trump administration’s policy giving immigration agents more leeway to make arrests at “sensitive locations,” including houses of worship.

    Why do you believe that religious leaders are so opposed to the cruel immigration policies that many of the religious right support.
