California, NJ Hit Epic Highs Of Coronavirus Infections

How is it that places that vote overwhelmingly Democrat see such high infection rates? Aren’t these the people who screech “wear a mask”?

Coronavirus infection rate hits unprecedented levels in California and officials worry how bad it will get

California capped a week of unprecedented coronavirus spread, with officials unsure how much worse it will get while placing hope that new restrictions could help slow infections as the holidays approach.

The staggering rise in cases caught many off guard, with long lines at some testing facilities and worries about whether Thanksgiving will cause even more people to be infected.

For the seven-day period that ended Friday, an average of 10,981 people in California were reported to be infected daily — a number that has more than doubled in just the last two weeks. That is even worse than the peak in the summer, which until now had been California’s worst spike of COVID-19, according to a Times data analysis.

Aren’t they good little citizens who Do What They Are Told?

N.J. reports 3,635 new COVID-19 cases, 23 deaths as hospitals continue to see surge in patients

New Jersey on Friday reported 3,635 more coronavirus cases and 23 additional deaths, while hospitalizations rose for the 21st straight day as the second wave of the pandemic continues.

Strange, right? Aren’t Democrats good little sheep? Oh, you libs are saying “this is happening in mostly Republican areas of the states”?

Hack that he is, Teach mocks NJ and CA, ignoring that Coronavirus is roaring through nearly every state, including the red states and blue state rural areas.

Trump and his band of cruel GOPhers thought all was well as long as blue staters were dying. Guess what? By doing nothing, your Mango Messiah has allowed the pandemic to prevail.

Teach overlooks Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, the Dakotas, Wyoming…

Even sparsely populated states such as Alaska, N&S Dakotas, Wyoming, Montana, Kansas etc are seeing “epic” highs in number of cases. Increased deaths show up a few weeks later.

Teach is part of the conservative lie machine.

Rimjob is overcome with joy that so many Americans are sick.
Nevermind the recovery rate of those infected is ~97%.
      That must make Rimjob sad.

Cute. So who’d you steal that from, Rimjob?
We already know you never post anything original.

    Bwaha! Lolgfy

I believe SD currently has the highest mortality rate of any state and that is also higher than the mortality rate of any country

  5. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Sounds like Teach was celebrating deaths in CA and NJ. His little lapdog agrees with him.

The rules don’t matter. They never have. Isolation is the only thing that slows the virus. The democrat states have high transmission rates because they have high population densities. Nothing matters. Certainly not masks and shutting down businesses. If those things worked, we’d all be cured after ten months.

Good thing the Trump administration has produced actual cures and vaccines and didnt bet everything on masks and social distancing.

  7. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Trump did not produce cures or vaccines. He promoted hydroxychloroquine, bleach and UV light. To his credit he did not castrate the CDC, NIH or FDA.

Cases are skyrocketing in sparsely populated states too.

  8. joeandthehoe says:

Cases are “skyrocketing” because testing is skyrocketing. If we’re testing ten times more people than six months ago it stands that we’re gonna find a lot more “positives”. But positives don’t mean the person is sick it means he was exposed. Period. People test both positive and negative so what’s that all about?

How would you handle the Commie Plague, Elwood? Lockdown America till there’s no more positives? You seem to think Trump didn’t do anything correctly so how would you conquer Wuhan? You have a big mouth about Trump who did everything the CDC,NIH and WHO said would work and it didn’t. It seems the only way to eradicate this Commie Plague is to lockdown the entire country. Would you do that? I also notice the Democommies never get specific about what they would have done from day one. You bitch about Trump but we all went through this together and NOBODY had any better suggestions. He listened to your beloved “experts” and that has brought us to where we are today. You have murdered (by your count) 300,000 Americans to get Trump out of office. How noble you are. Your Red Chinese allies are super happy.

      Kye and his Ho,

While testing has increased so has the RATE of positives; so have hospitalizations, so have deaths.

We understand why trump felt the need to hold his “rallies”, even as he was infected. He was losing badly, but the message his actions sent was Covid is a hoax. As predicted by experts you distrust, infections have increased dramatically during the fall.

Based on emerging evidence, the trump/Atlas whisper campaign to encourage virus spread (herd immunity) may not be as effective as hoped because the antibody response may not be durable. It’s unclear what this may mean for the vaccine programs. Few have confidence that the now locked down White House can manage vaccine distribution. Fortunately, the US military, not trump, is in charge of distribution. These men and women will do your jobs regardless of what Ghouliani yelps.

It’s a lie (among many) pushed by reactionaries that Americans are not dying from Covid or that the death rate has not increased over average. What worked in the spring would work again. Remember the concept of “flattening the curve”?
