See, it’s all fine and dandy when Democrats attack Trump and Democrats, and perfectly fine to do a raid on Trump’s home, but, not a shady Democrats Islamist
Trump again attacks Rep. Ilhan Omar, a US citizen, over immigration allegations
President Donald Trump again attacked Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar on Tuesday, calling her a “terrible person” a day after federal authorities searched her Washington, D.C.-area residence.
The investigation into Omar — a sitting member of Congress who is up for reelection in just three weeks — relates to her immigration paperwork, sources told ABC News.
Omar, who was first elected to the House in 2018, is the first Somali American in Congress. Born in Somalia, Omar became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2000.
Asked whether he wants to see Omar deported after the Homeland Security Investigation’s search at her residence on Monday, Trump said he doesn’t “take a position” on the matter. It’s not clear whether deportation is on the table for Omar.
“I don’t take a position. I think she’s a terrible person. I think she’s a terrible congresswoman. I don’t think she loves our country at all, but I don’t take a position,” Trump said as he departed the White House Tuesday morning.
I still wonder though, is this actually about her immigration, or about something related to the massive fraud in Minnesota, since she is linked to many of the players? Or maybe fraud at the businesses of her and her husband?
In recent history, the Justice Department’s practice has been to advise prosecutors not to take any overt investigative steps against members of Congress or candidates within 60 days of an election.
Well, maybe there is something that bad? Because, really, she’s in zero danger of losing her seat, not with all the Somalis in her district.
Speaker Mike Johnson weighed in on the search of Omar residence during an interview on Fox News on Tuesday morning, saying “we have to reserve judgment and let the system play out as it does.”
“Maybe the timing’s unfortunate for her or others, but this is the legal system, and it operates independently of the political system. So, we do our jobs, and we let the people decide,” Johnson said.
A judge did sign off on the warrant, and you can bet there had to be some damned good reasons to do it.

By the credentialed media. Do you mean the media that the overwhelming percentage of Americans choose to consume?
Americans have a huge choice in available media choices.
Teach wants people to only watch Trump and Teach approved media.
This was the first time the DOJ raided the home of a sitting Congress member this close to the election
Is that significant? Should they have delayed it 1month?
This was a possible immigration violation, not something like say something concerning highly secret nuclear documents being stored in public places in a social club

I’m sorry, but I have not heard that there was a ‘safe harbor’ for congresscritters to be exempt from law enforcement as the election approached; perhaps you can cite that provision in federal law for us?
Actually, it should have happened a couple of years ago, with her denaturalized and shipped back to Somalia, but better late than never. And if “this close to the election” costs her the election — it won’t — that would be great. We have all seen how the Democrats tried everything in their power to disqualify and even imprison Donald Trump before the 2024 election, so I have exactly zero respect for their whining now.
