DOJ Threatens To Pull Funds From States That Do Not Report Their Illegal Alien Residents

I like it!

DOJ says states must report all undocumented immigrants — or lose federal funds

The Justice Department has adopted a sweeping new legal interpretation designed to compel states to assist the Trump administration’s immigration crackdowns.

The new opinion from the department’s Office of Legal Counsel — which provides advice to the attorney general — outlines a new path for the federal government to yank federal funding from states that don’t aid the administration’s mass deportation push.

It says any state that draws on massive federal programs to provide financial assistance to low-income residents — which every state does — must report to the Trump administration any immigrant it believes is residing in the country illegally.

Prior administrations concluded that the requirement to report known undocumented immigrants applied only to state agencies implementing those federal programs.

But the new opinion instead determined that the reporting requirement extends to the entire government of a state receiving federal funding through either the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program or Supplemental Security Income — two enormous safety net programs for low-income families as well as elderly and disabled residents.

“Congress wrote this requirement plainly,” Assistant Attorney General T. Elliot Gaiser said in a statement. “When a state chooses to participate in TANF, it accepts the obligation to report illegal aliens in the United States. Tax dollars intended to help vulnerable Americans should not perversely encourage illegal entry into the United States, but rather should reinforce our laws and our borders.”

Oh, this is going to cause massive teeth gnashing from the moonbats, eh? Of course, yeah, some wacko liberal judge, probably one of the same old same old ones, will rule against this, be reminded they can only speak for their own district, then get reversed on appeal

I doubt they will actually do this, but, I wouldn’t be surprised if ICE agents in full ICE apparel show up around some polling places in the first days of early voting, simply to discourage illegals from showing up. That’s really what this is about.

The threats of Trump are rapidly losing any value.
They still excite Teach Trump’s days as an effective president are numbered and dropping .

Fentanyl prices are at historical lows saving drug addicts billions per year. Fentanyl pills as low as 50 cents as ICE focuses on deporting working migrants and their often American citizens children

But, but, we’ve been told repeatedly that “illegals” are strictly a Federal responsibility. The states should stand by and watch the Stasi work their magic. They don’t even want state officials to examine their icky concentration camps.

Who does President Quagmire think pays all those taxes? People of NY, CA, NJ, PA, TX, MA, FL, WA, IL, OR etc. Certainly not Don the Con! Cali-fucking-fornians pay 16% of total fed revenues!!! Donny has America $40 trillion in debt!

Few non-citizens vote. This is all part of Don-the-Con’s plan to rig the elections. He’s desperate. Federaling the vote, gerrymandering, using our USPS to block vote by mail (except for him and the elites), seizing personal and private voter data from the states…

      Uh, shouldn’t that be…..

      “NO NON-CITIZENS VOTE.:

Yes. And there should be no burglaries, assaults, speeders, rapes, frauds, paying off sex workers to keep them quiet, grabbing women by the pussy, etc.

We COULD assign a police officer to monitor each and every under 30 male and cut 90% of homicides (saving 18,000)!! But we don’t. We COULD mandate governors on every automobile to limit speeds to the speed limit. But we don’t.

Should we put armed Federal agents at each polling place to catch the 0.0001% of non-citizens voting?

If “few non-citizens vote,” then wouldn’t very few non-citizens show up to vote if ICE are at the polling places?

This is the logical fallacy of your arguments. You keep telling us how rare these things are, yet you decry the actions to reduce them. For an illegal immigration apologist, shouldn’t you want ICE to put agents at a place you believe no illegals will be?

BREAKING: DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said Tuesday that ICE agents could enter polling places to make arrests this November, raising fresh concerns about the Trump administration contemplating actions that federal law has long prohibited.

Fuck that, MarkWayne. We understand that Donny, MarkWayne, Stephen Miller, Lil Peter, Teach and the MAGAt ignorati are authoritarians at heart but the law is the law.

18 U.S.C. § 592 is the federal law that makes it a crime to station troops or armed men at any polling place during an election.

Whoever, being an officer of the Army or Navy, or other person in the civil, military, or naval service of the United States, orders, brings, keeps, or has under his authority or control any troops or armed men at any place where a general or special election is held, unless such force be necessary to repel armed enemies of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both; and be disqualified from holding any office of honor, profit, or trust under the United States.
