Happy Sunday! Another wonderful day in Returned America. The Sun is shining, supposed to get some needed rain, and Asheville was rather interesting. Weirdly, as long as I’ve been in NC I have never been there. The entire point was to go to the top of Mt. Mitchell, but, too many T-storms Friday and Saturday, so, just came home Saturday. It is recognized that Red States are the worst states based on their poor economies, poor educational performance, need for federal support, high crime, environmental concerns, life expectancies, loss of civil rights etc.
Tennessee Republicans, led by Gov. Bill Lee, make no apologies for a rash of state laws targeting the LGBTQ+ community, including a so-called “bathroom law” requiring transgender people to use the facilities designated for their sex at birth.
Governor Lee designating June “Nuclear Family Month”, stating “The nuclear family, consisting of one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children, is God’s design for familial structure and has been the bedrock of society since the creation of the world”.
Inclusiveness isn’t the only area where the Volunteer State falls short. Tennessee also has one of the highest violent crime rates in the nation, the third-highest rate of drug deaths and routinely ranks at or near the bottom nationally for “quality of life” due to systemic public health deficits and low worker protections.
These are all deficits that conservaturds promote.
Trans persons commit sexual assaults at a much lower rate than the current administration, e.g., Donny, Hegseth, Kennedy, Kavanaugh, Gaetz, Elon, Mcmahon…
Americans are increasingly moving to red states, attracted by lower taxes and a more affordable cost of living.
