Sorta Blogless Sunday-Interlude on Liberals

Now this is just funny as the all getout, which is why I am posting it on Sorta Blogless Sunday

At least 80 wealthy liberals have pledged to contribute at least $1 million each to fund a network of think tanks and advocacy groups to compete with the potent conservative infrastructure built up over the past three decades.

Alliance chairman Steven Gluckstern, a retired investment banker, said President Bush’s victory over Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., after millions were put into pro-Democratic "527" groups caused many contributors to think that a dramatically new approach was needed.

Tell you what, Dems. Give me $100K for the townhome I am looking at, and I will solve your problem. Heck, here you go. It is very simple. Stop the caterwauling, stop the hysterics, stop the hijinx, stop the "blame everyone else," stop being, as Michelle Malkin puts it, unhinged. That is how you appear to the right of center folks, as well as the swing voters. Do not blame America first for everthing that happens. Take an active interest in protecting America through any means. America comes first. Understand that the GWoT is real. Understand that what you say can, in fact, hurt your country. Take an active interest in stopping illegal immigration. If you can trump the GOP on this subject, you could win big. Try and offer actual plans, put forth in a positive way.

I know that they won’t listen to this advice in the least. You just know that these think tanks will come up with even more radical policies. Consider Kosbat (this is what I wanted to write about on Saturday)

Like Dems, the Conservative Party in Britain is going through a soul searching process after finding themselves in the political wilderness, having lost a third straight general election to Labor. Unlike Dems, whose battle seems more a question of political tactics, with the issues divide being limited to, possibly trade policy, and  national security policy (a strange debate indeed where the group who has gotten everything wrong for the past 4 years insists that those who got it right are the problem), the Tories seem to be having an honest to goodness debate on ideology, but not the one you would expect.

So that is all it really is to the hard left: political tactics. That is the idiocy in a nutshell which will cause the dems to continue to lose elections. There are no plans to better the country in political tactics, other then the Dems wanting to subplant the GOP. As stated by so many, it is all about power with the dems. No substance

  1. The Next Air America?

The effort to replicate the success of the Republicans continues….

  2. I would do the same thing for half of what you charge. I can even make up catchy slogans for them to chant.

  3. Jay says:

Its all about power and that is politics in a nutshell.

  4. Fortunately, the Dems are continuing to go about it the exact wrong way.
