Pro-Hamas Mob Chases NYPD Chief Into NYU Building

This very much encapsulates “mostly peaceful”

NYPD chief swarmed by anti-Israel protesters and berated while seeking shelter in NYU building

Out of control New York University protesters swarmed and berated an NYPD chief and his officers – calling them “f–king fascists” – after they cuffed one of the demonstrators at an anti-Israel rally, wild new video shows.

The viral video, shared on X, shows NYPD Assistant Chief James McCarthy and his officers being chased and surrounded by protestors on Monday night while trying to get inside the NYU Catholic Center after arresting one of them.

“F–k you! F–k you, pigs,” the crowd could be heard shouting as they harassed the officers and demanded they release the woman in custody. (snip)

The protesters were left on the other side of the glass doors, with officers holding the entrance shut as the demonstrators banged against the doors and hurled more insults at them.

It’s pretty bad when the chief of police of the NYPD and a host of officers have to seek shelter from people who are supposed to be “just protesters”, wouldn’t you say? But, then, these people are backing an Islamic terrorist group, not exactly known for being peaceful. It might be high time to send in the National Guard, but, you can bet the Powers That Be are yammering about being concerned with escalation.

Meanwhile

(NY Post) Police peacefully arrested 93 student protesters at the University of Southern California on Wednesday, hours after police at a Texas university aggressively detained dozens in the latest clashes between law enforcement and those protesting the Israel-Hamas war on campuses nationwide. (snip)

Officers made 34 arrests at the behest of the university and Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott, according to the state Department of Public Safety.

Yeah, the video all over the ‘net shows it wasn’t exactly peaceful at either.

Dane Urquhart, a third-year Texas student, called the police presence and arrests an “overreaction,” adding that the protest “would have stayed peaceful” if the officers had not turned out in force.

When “protesters” are talking about killing Jews, destroying Israel, and “globalizing the Intifada” while wearing keffiyehs (probably made in China) that are symbols of Palestinians killing Jews, you’ve lost free speech and protest rights

North of USC, students at California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt, were barricaded inside a building for a third day, and the school shut down campus through the weekend and made classes virtual.

Harvard University in Massachusetts had sought to stay ahead of protests this week by limiting access to Harvard Yard and requiring permission for tents and tables.

And, at all these colleges and others, Jewish students are being harassed and terrorized, assaulted in some cases, blocked from movement, trapped in building, hence, these are no longer peaceful protests per the US Constitution and the constitutions of the states. No longer lawful free speech. Democrats created this, tolerated this, and now are seeing the monster they created.

Your Fault: Global Boiling Can Harm Soccer

Seriously, a slight uptick in average temperatures is dooming what those weird Europeans call football

Football’s climate change threat: Flooded stadiums, too hot to train

“God blessed Fulham with great geography,” the Premier League club’s owner Shahid Khan said in 2021 as he discussed his vision for Craven Cottage’s new £80 million stand on the north bank of the River Thames.

Once it is finally completed next season, the Riverside Stand and its eye-catching Sky Deck will offer fans rooftop views of the London skyline and “experiential food and drink pop-ups.” Images of the lavish construction released by the club in March also depict a rooftop swimming pool. There is, though, one glaring issue with the development: the stadium is predicted to be underwater by 2050.

Fulham are by no means the only team predicted to suffer as sea levels rise in line with global temperatures because of climate change. Almost one in four stadiums in the top four divisions of English football will experience total or partial flooding within the next quarter of a century, according to the report “Playing Against the Clock: Global Sport, the Climate Emergency and the Case for Rapid Change,” published by the Rapid Transition Alliance in 2020.

Premier League clubs, despite their riches, will not be exempt, with the likes of Chelsea and West Ham United likely to face annual flooding, as will U.S. sports teams including the Jacksonville JaguarsMiami Heat and New York Mets. The New York Giants and the New York Jets‘ MetLife Stadium is also predicted to be submerged every year.

For MetLife, this would require a minimum sea rise of 9 feet. Fulham would require almost 19 feet. I’m not going to bother with the others, it’s just the same old same old scaremongering, especially when talking about his happening by 2050. You can look at the topographic maps yourself, you know, actual facts and data, which the climate cult media never bothers with.

Biden Equates Sending Military Weapons To Ukraine With World Peace

No, really

This is the same guy who served as Obama’s VP when Obama sent Putin a Strongly Worded Letter when Putin took Crimea

(Breitbart) President Joe Biden suggested war is peace on Wednesday after he signed legislation to provide Ukraine the funds to conduct a war against Russia.

“It’s a good day for world peace,” Biden claimed about the war funds in the State Dining Room of the White House, echoing George Orwell’s novel “Nineteen Eighty-Four.”

“It’s going to make America safer, it’s going to make the world safer, and it continues America’s leadership in the world, and everyone knows it,” Biden said of the funds.

The Senate passed the foreign aid package on Wednesday. Just minutes after the vote, Biden signed the legislation into law “so we can begin sending weapons and equipment to Ukraine this week.”

This does nothing more than continue war, be it in Ukraine, which has no chance of beating Russia unless they want to go guerilla, like happened in Afghanistan, and allows Israel to continue decimating Hamas, which is a wise expenditure for the U.S. But, still war. And while it does allocate money to Taiwan, the inconsistent yammering of the Biden admin on the nation doesn’t deter China.

Texas Grand Jury Overrides Judge Over Illegal Entry

Hundreds of illegal aliens crossed the border in the El Paso sector, and were charged with misdemeanor rioting. Somehow, a judge found there was no evidence, despite law enforcement having video and photos and eye witness reports

Migrants indicted in Texas over alleged border breach after judge dismissed charges

A Texas grand jury indicted more than 140 migrants on misdemeanor rioting charges Tuesday over an alleged mass attempt to breach the U.S.-Mexico border, a day after a judge threw out the cases.

No injuries were reported during the alleged breach on April 12 in El Paso, which authorities say began when someone in the group cut through a razor wire barrier. Mass arrests also followed a separate episode in the Texas border city in March.

On Monday, a county judge had thrown out the charges against those who were arrested this month, ruling there was insufficient probable cause. A public defender representing the migrants had argued there was not enough evidence and accused authorities of trying to make headlines.

“The citizens of El Paso, through the grand jury, essentially overruled the judge’s ruling and found probable cause to believe that the riots did occur,” El Paso County District Attorney Bill Hicks told reporters Tuesday.

The public defender is just doing their job. I’m not sure what’s going on with the judge, since they did, in fact, cross the border. Now, of course, the saying is that a grand jury could indict a ham sandwich. Now they have to prosecute.

If convicted, those charged could each face up to 180 days in county jail and a fine of up to $2,000. Those in jail still face federal charges, and Hicks said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents could still pick them up from jail to process them on an illegal entry offense.

At which point they would normally be turned over to federal authorities, usually ICE. Since they would now have a criminal record it would be very easy to quickly deport them under federal law. But, will Texas simply deport them under their own recently passed laws? Perhaps just say “time served, get out”?

South Korean Youts Suit On Climate Doom Goes To High Court

Considering that South Korea is utterly dependent on fossil fuels to import and export a huge chunk of their goods, because the nation might as well be an island with North Korea to the north, how would this work if the kiddies win their (astroturfed) lawsuit?

South Korean court hears children’s climate change case against government

South Korea’s Constitutional Court began hearing on Tuesday a case that accuses the government of having failed to protect 200 people, including dozens of young environmental activists and children, by not tackling climate change.

The proceeding is Asia’s first such climate-related litigation, the plaintiffs said, which includes four petitions by children and infants among others dating from 2020, as well as one from a foetus at the time, nicknamed Woodpecker.

Climate lawsuits are a global trend, drawing increasing public interest, said Lee Jongseok, the president of the court, which is one of the highest in South Korea.

“The court recognises the importance and public interest of this case and will make efforts to ensure that deliberations are conducted thoroughly,” he said.

“South Korea’s current climate plans are not sufficient to keep the temperature increase within 1.5 degrees Celsius, thus violating the state’s obligation to protect fundamental rights,” the plaintiffs said in a statement.

OK, so, what happens if they significantly reduce their use of fossil fuels or end them? What happens with all their automobiles, auto parts, technology, and other goods exported? You can’t send them on sailing ships, can you?

Anyhow, what I’m not finding in any of the news articles, or even in the complaints filed (obviously, reading the English translations) is what they want the court and government to actually do. If you sue someone you want something, right? If someone steals your song, you would sue them for restitution and to take the song off the market. So, what do these “youths”, ie, their parents and big monied climate cult groups, really want?

UN Scum Leave Hamas Off Sexual Violence Blacklist

I wonder how soon the anti-Semites in the U.N. will take Hamas off their terrorist organization list

Israel fumes as UN secretary-general leaves Hamas off sexual violence blacklist

Foreign Minister Israel Katz accused United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres of standing “shoulder to shoulder with the rapists and murderers of Hamas” for declining to include the terror group in a report published Tuesday on organizations suspected by the UN of committing acts of sexual violence during conflict.

The document, titled “Conflict-related sexual violence,” and published as a “Report of the Secretary-General,” noted there is evidence that sex crimes were committed during the Palestinian terror group Hamas’s devastating October 7 attack on Israel, but did not specifically attribute responsibility to Hamas.

The ministry elaborated in the statement that Guterres ignored “the plethora of testimony and evidence that was collected and then included in the report of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict Pramila Patten.”

I’m surprised Guterres isn’t out at Columbia or NYU protesting with the pro-Hamas nutters

Patten’s report after her visit to Israel found that rape likely occurred during the Hamas attacks, and said there was convincing evidence hostages were facing sexual abuse in Gaza.

In his report, Guterres referenced Patten’s assessment, but noted that it, “not being investigative in nature and given its limited duration, did not draw conclusions on attribution to specific armed groups or determine prevalence of incidents of conflict-related sexual violence during and after the attacks of 7 October. Such a determination would require a fully-fledged investigation.”

Guterres, fumed Katz, refused to acknowledge Hamas’s responsibility for the grave sexual crimes that appear in the Patten report and to declare it a terrorist organization.

The United Nations has not been a friend of Israel for decades, and, instead, has taken the side of the Islamic extremists at almost every turn. Just like the Muslim Brotherhood planned.

Hamas’s armed wing calls for escalation across all fronts

The spokesperson for Hamas’ armed al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, called on Tuesday for an escalation across all fronts in a televised speech marking 200 days since the start of the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7.

Israel says it is seeking to eradicate Hamas, which controls the enclave. The war started when the terrorist group attacked Israel, killing 1,200 and taking 253 hostages.

In a video aired by Al Jazeera TV, Abu Ubaida praised Iran’s attack on Israel on April 13, saying the direct strikes with explosive drones and missiles “set new rules, drew important equations, and confused the enemy and those behind it.”

And, yet, all these Lefties are telling Israel to stand down, even though it is Hamas which wants to keep this going.

And then they’re going to whine about being arrested for protesting.

Climate Wackos Annoy Bostonites By Blocking Bridge

But, hey, Boston overwhelmingly votes Democrat, so, they should be fine with this, since these are fellow Warmists, right?

Climate change protesters block Moakley Bridge in South Boston

Climate change protesters gathered in Boston for Earth Day, marching in an event that shut down traffic on the Moakley Bridge in South Boston Monday afternoon.

Climate activist group Extinction Rebellion organized the event, which they called Boston’s Earth Day party. Earlier in the afternoon, the group had gathered at Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park.

The same group took credit for a demonstration at Lawrence G. Hanscom Field in Bedford on Saturday. At that event, 20 people were arrested after they trespassed on the tarmac, according to Massachusetts State Police. Organizers said the intent was to stop planes from taking off.

Too bad the planes can’t simply run them over, but, planes are expensive, don’t want to damage them. My favorite part of all this is the accompanying photo

OK, whining about plastic while having lots of plastic. Hat, jackets, clothes, shoes, sign, glasses, all made with petroleum. Is that a can of soda, which contains “carbon pollution”? Paint made with petroleum. Fast fashion protest shirts. And, blocking traffic, making them idle.

Look at all that petroleum! The Seaport bridge is the Moakley bridge.
