Rather than the roving bands of thugs/goons roughing up Hispanics, why not a humane plan with a path to permanent status for those who are employed, with citizen-children, long-term residence, no serious crimes etc.
The current actions are not working.

President Trump last month granted a pardon to Changpeng Zhao, the billionaire founder of a cryptocurrency exchange who had pleaded guilty to money-laundering violations in 2023, and whose company struck a business deal in May involving the Trump family’s crypto venture. But now the president has claimed he did not know who Mr. Zhao was.
“I don’t know who he is,” Mr. Trump said. “I know he got a four-month sentence or something like that. And I heard it was a Biden witch hunt.”
In seeking his pardon, Mr. Zhao hired lawyers and lobbyists with ties to the Trump administration, while Binance struck a business deal involving World Liberty Financial, the Trump family’s crypto venture, that was expected to generate tens of millions of dollars a year for the Trump family.

Former VP Richard “Dick” Cheney passed away yesterday at 84. Cheney was considered the architect of the US invasion of Iraq (the Iraq War) and the Global War on Terror. After a conservative Congress and President Clinton balanced the budget, Cheney and Bush exploded the debt with tax cuts and war and the 2008 Great Recession.
Cheney gave off the record quotes to the NYT, then used these quotes as evidence for Iraq possessing weapons of mass destruction!
Although Cheney supported trump in 2016, he endorsed Harris in 2024, recognizing the danger the vile trump posed, saying:
“In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump. He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him. He can never be trusted with power again.”
