Doom Today: World Could Maybe Breach 1.5C In 5 Years

So, what happens if this doesn’t happen? Who gets blamed for the scary prognostication? Who pays the penalty?

World on track to breach key 1.5°C threshold in next 5 years: Report

There is a 50% chance that, during the next five years, the global average surface temperature will exceed 1.5°C above the preindustrial average for the first time in an individual year, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) reported Monday.

Why it matters: Under the Paris Agreement, countries are seeking to limit global warming to 1.5°C of warming compared to preindustrial levels, in order to minimize the potential for devastating climate change impacts.

Studies show that if global warming were to exceed 1.5°C above preindustrial levels and remain there, the odds of widespread damage would greatly increase.

Between the lines: The new report, which provides climate projections for the five-year period between 2022 and 2026, does not indicate that the 1.5-degree target will be breached over the long-term, which is the target’s meaning under the Paris Agreement.

Ah, they’re hedging their bets. Also, Axios couldn’t even do the easy research to know that Paris was about keeping the world below 2C, which caused lots of heartburn for diehard Warmists.

The big picture: Climate studies have shown that if warming were to exceed 1.5°C as a long-term average, then far more severe consequences would ensure, such as the loss of warm water coral reefs, flooding of small island nations and an increase in deadly heat waves around the world.

Computer models have shown that a minor 1.5C increase in over 170 years, which has happened in multiple Holocene warm periods, will be doom.

The left and their AGW NAZI SCAM reminds me of every action movie ever made.

    COUNTDOWN TIMER.

I remember the movie Independence Day when Jeff Goldblum is telling his boss that there is a countdown going on that only he knows about and when it gets to ZERO.

    What DAVID?

    CHECKMATE…….

GASP….I gotta call my mother, I gotta call my lawyer…oh screw my lawyer.

The FINAL COUNTDOWN…..Every movie always has a COUNTDOWN before the explosion and it always takes like 10 minutes in the movie to countdown 30 or 60 seconds. Takes at least 1-2 minutes to go from 10-0.

It grabs attention, builds suspense and a sense of urgency. It puts everyone on the edge of their seats.

The question I have is …..If its 1.4 degrees C then are we saved as in the timer stops at 1-2-3 seconds before zero even though us frogs are still boiling in the cauldron? Are we SAVED because it did not strike 1.5 degrees C. Or are we still doomed at 1.4 degrees C?

    How about 1.3 Degrees C? !.2 Degrees C.

Remember the movie Total Recall Where Arnold and his chick are blown out into the Mars landscape where there is zero atmosphere and they are writing in agony on the ground….Their EYEBALLS BULGING OUT OF THEIR HEADS like some Cartoon? And suddenly an Enormous planet is SAVED in the NICK OF TIME, Their eyes return into their sockets and they stand up as if nothing happened.

COUNTDOWN……To Armageddon. There is always a countdown with the left and screw the science cause if we stop it at 1.499999 Degrees we are saved but we have just 5 years. Before it was 11, then ??, then 9 then 7 and now 5.

    Blast off, Fool!!!

So… it looks like all that climate counsels and conferences resulted in an acceleration of the arrival of doom. They must be doing something wrong.

So, is that the new tipping point date?

I’d really like a firm date at which we can tell the warmunists to go f(ornicate) themselves!

    “Studies Show”….. Our guesses show…1.5 well, ok. 1.6 degrees..disaster.
