Biden “Misspeaks” On Calling For Regime Change In Russia

Yet another case of the Joe Biden, elected to essentially the most powerful position on earth, saying something which needed to be cleaned up by his staff, and virtually no one in the media questioning why Biden said it

Biden Says Russian President Vladimir Putin ‘Cannot Remain in Power’

President Biden appeared to call for Vladimir Putin’s ouster in a speech Saturday, saying the Russian president’s invasion of Ukraine had ignited a “new battle for freedom” between democracies and autocracies.

“For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power,” Mr. Biden said at the Royal Castle before nearly a thousand attendees, including Polish President Andrzej Duda and members of the parliament. Hundreds of Poles also gathered nearby to watch a live stream of the speech.

A White House official later walked back Mr. Biden’s comment. “The president’s point was that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region,” the official said. “He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia, or regime change.”

For a guy who constantly says “Let me be clear”, his staff sure has to clean up a lot of his messes, eh? It would be great if Putin was gone, but, being Russia, could someone worse take over?

Some say this was written into the speech, others say it was ad-libbed.

Now, just imagine that it was Trump trying to gaffe the world into WWIII. How would the media play that? Right now, most are providing cover.

Could we please get a regime change here in the United States?
“For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.”

You tried on Jan 6, remember? Short of violent rebellion, you’re forced to wait until the next presidential election. Or has the American right given up on democracy?

Joe Biden tells the truth too often. Putin is a butcher. Putin is bad for Russia and Russians. For Russia to return to the community of nations, Putin has to go.

We know, we know… Putin gives connies the warm and fuzzies, ’cause connies love authoritarians.

      • ruralcounsel says:

If you think that was an attempt to do anything except object to election irregularities, you are delusional. And if you think that abortion of an election was democracy in action, there is no hope for your recovery.

If Americans on the right really wanted to overthrow their government, there would have been corpses littering the Capitol by the thousands. Most of them in three-piece suits and Capitol Police uniforms.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

          Nice threat, tough guy.

Anyway, there are always election irregularities – and 2020 was no worse. But trump and his henchmen and henchwomen kept promoting their bullshit. He would destroy America to “save” it for himself and his minions.

We get it. “Conservatives have earned the right to always be in charge. After all, god is on our side. WE built America, not the hippies, libs, negroes, mexicans, muzzies and fags who are trying to take it away from us! You won’t replace us!”

          • ruralcounsel says:

If 2020 was no worse, why is Wisconsin on the verge of decertifying their electoral college votes? Why are Democrats fighting so hard against forensic audits of the results (not just meaningless recounts) and touting so hard to change voting laws to allow less verification and more fraud?

Denial is more than a river in Egypt.

1/6 was a nothingburger. A handful of upset demonstrators egged into petty trespass by Antifa and FBI provocateurs. The only two murders were committed by government employees on unarmed people. But by all means, stay hysterical about it. The American people are bored by your drum-beating about it.

You have no idea what a real threat looks like, do you? It sure isn’t describing what a serious insurrection would look like.

ruralcounsel typed: why is Wisconsin on the verge of decertifying their electoral college votes

Why? Because GOPhers be fukking nutz. That’s why. It’s a meaningless performance.

LOL. Whoopee shit. Trumptilians in WI legislature want to suck up to DonJon trump. But Wisconsin Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos told them to piss off on Mar 16. Do you have an update?

Anyone – anyone! who still claims that trump won the election is foolish and dishonest, and not to be taken seriously. You are not to be taken seriously.

Do all the dishonest forensic audits you want! So what? It’s political theatre. Trump’s own Cyber Ninjas found nothing in AZ.

Why are GOPhers working so hard at preventing people from voting?

LOL. So antifa and the U.S. FBI engineered the DonJon trump riot. Anyone who makes that claim is not to be taken seriously. Anyone. The trump-inspired insurrection was a cover for what trump, Eastman, Thomas, Congressional QANONers, Hawley, Meadows et al were up to.

What’s next out of your fingertips? The Dems are child-devouring pedophiles? LOFL.

You are not to be taken seriously.

    • ruralcounsel says:

Some of us are smart enough to realize there is more than one existential threat at a time to our country, and some of them come from the people supposedly governing it.

Biden lies reflexively to the American public. Putin may be bringing hell to the Ukrainians, but he was posing no significant threat to the US until BIden/NATO/Davos/WEF decided they wanted to destabilize Russia by provoking them into attacking the Ukraine. IT has yet to be determined who will end up more destabilized. Putin may be a war criminal, though I think that is more propaganda hyperbole. But if he is, then by the same standards so is Biden, Obama, Bush II, and Clinton, and probably Bush I.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Pure bullshit. America did NOT provoke Putin into invading Ukraine. Why let Putin off the hook?

        ruralcounsel typed:
one existential threat at a time to our country, and some of them come from the people supposedly governing it

It was trump supporters who attacked the U.S. Capitol in support of trump’s plan to overturn the election. Is that the existential threat to America you referenced?

President Obama had an American citizen, Anwar al-Awlaki, killed in Yemen. And later al-Awlaki’s son. al-Awlaki was a bad guy for sure, but WAS an American killed by the U.S. government without due process. I think that is an outrage. BTW – 8 yr old American citizen, Nora al-Awlaki, was killed by Seal Team 6 under orders of trump. In the raid 12 al-qaeda, 24 civilians (including Nora) and 1 Seal were killed.

I’m not sure that Presidents Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Biden deliberately attacked non-combatant civilians. FDR and Truman surely condoned the killing of civilians (bombing of Germany, Japan – Hiroshima and Nagasaki!). Johnson and Nixon backed carpet bombing in Vietnam that no doubt killed civilians.

“Putin’s is a killer,” Bill O’Reilly said in the interview.

“There are a lot of killers,” Trump responded. “Got a lot of killers. What, do you think our country’s so innocent?”

But U.S. actions do not excuse Putin.

Didn’t we watch as biden fired a missile into a family claiming they were terrorists only to have found they were a bunch of people on their way to shop? Killed all the women and children. So he’s a fukin war criminal, a thig, a murderer and a terrorist himself.

As soon as the shooting started you commies decided you were for the Nazi supporters and against the Putin and dialed it up to eleventeen with the “war criminal” shit. You are all lying blowhards. The Ukes are as bad as the Russians and to root for either is to reveal your immorality and contempt for humanity.

Also you can keep your “New World Order” shit to yourself with the “community of nations” comment. There is no such thing. There is only the Free and the Oppressed. And you always favor the oppressor.

It only took 14 months for that dummy biden to go from “build back better” to “get ready for food shortages”. Food shortages is leftist speak for famine. So we have been in pestilence for two years, now we have a new war that dOwd just can’t wait to get into, then famine the only Horseman left is Death. I’m sure joey baby sniffer can muster that up too.

We are being ruled by criminals and their followers are naïve fools. The cities they run are third world shitholes. They bring in millions of filthy, impoverished and diseased criminals and peasants from third world countries to suck up our resources and ruin our culture, they weaken our military and fill it with fags and anti white racists, they use our schools to teach perversion and communism and then threaten the parents who object, they are all about the end of the USA. And they know it and lie about it.

        • ruralcounsel says:

Of course we provoked it. It is pure bullshit to deny it. History extends further back than 2021. Try going back to at least 2013, where the CIA engaged the demonstrators to carry out the coup by sending neo-nazi Ukrainian snipers to kill both police and demonstrators and make peaceful demonstrations turn violent. Another color revolution my ass.

It would have been elementary statecraft for Biden to get Ukraine and Russia to have a peaceful settlement, or at least one short of war. Instead, every public statement was a variant of “let’s you and him fight.”

Biden actively egged on the conflict that no one believed would actually happen.

          Why? This why is important.

It was to swap out the chips. COVID-19 Fear Enabler™ was replaced with 2022 Russia Hate®. Joe saw his shot to again become nearly as popular as “that dance the kids are doing, the twist” and someone decided to make the chip swap.

I see that there is a very, very significant portion of the populace that is highly susceptible to this reprogramming – again – not every Russia hater is an NPC, but many are. The technology for this reprogramming has been honed very well over time. People who couldn’t spell Ukraine and couldn’t find it on a map want to intervene with a no-fly zone and troops. One wonders if they know that “no-fly” has nothing to do with zipperless pants.

    • ruralcounsel says:

Instead, the emotions deliberately stoked by the relentless media attention to the horrors of this war — horrors which, contrary to the West’s media propaganda, are common to all wars, including its own — left little to no space for public discussion of those questions. The only acceptable modes of expression in U.S. discourse were to pronounce that the Russian invasion was unjustified, and, using parlance which the 2011 version of Chris Hayes correctly dismissed as adolescent, that Putin is a “bad guy.” Those denunciation rituals, no matter how cathartic and applause-inducing, supplied no useful information about what actions the U.S. should or should not take when it came to this increasingly dangerous conflict. – Glenn Greenwald

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

There was a Senate candidate on Fox the other night who had done tours in Iraq and Afghanistan AND had been assigned to the Pentagon as an arms negotiator with the Russians. He said the Russians only understood leverage, and the leverage from the U.S. should be on the rest of the world to give up Russian petroleum. The other commentator agreed and added that U.S. LNG should replace Russian gas.

        What do you think?

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

It sounds as if ruralcounsel and Mr Greenwald feel the media and the west should look the other way as Russia invades Ukraine. It’s no threat to our shores!

Just think… if Mr trump had succeeded in dismantling NATO as Putin wants, the U.S. would have NO stake in Europe!

        • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

Once again you leftists are beating war drums. How many battles have you been in? We assume you are going over to join the resistance? You leftists love to stick your stupid noses in other people’s business.

NATO is worthless unless they pay their own way. It boils down to the USA paying for and doing almost everything. BTW, NATO is as much of an aggressor as Putin, if it weren’t for the threat of Ukraine joining NATO there would be no war. Well, that and having a weak asshole as fake president.

        • ruralcounsel says:

I think that we provoked this war and are using the Ukrainians to get at the Russians. That is an immoral thing to do, analogous to pushing innocent people into a meat grinder. So while at one level, Putin is the bad guy, at a much deeper and more fundamental level, our western leaders are much much worse, and just as culpable. So if Putin is a war criminal, so are our leaders.

It isn’t a matter of looking the other way. It’s a matter of not provoking and aggravating the fight with other peoples’ lives.

        • ruralcounsel says:

I don’t care if the media cover the war in Ukraine. Look any way you want. Just don’t lie about what started it and be honest about our own part in it.

Too much to ask of the warmongerers who want to distract the world from all their other failures? Quit trying to treat it like a Superbowl game where you pick a favorite. This Superbowl game is being played so you don’t pay attention to the people ripping off your cars in the stadium parking lot.

  3. ruralcounsel says:

The US doesn’t need a stake in Europe. As far as geopolitics go, Europe is nothing but a badly upkept museum now, overrun with African and Middle Eastern refugees who are destroying what little European culture is left.

The US needs to be careful where we pick fights; we’ve lost a lot of military capability and international respect over the past year. It’s long past time to stop acting like we are the only powerful nation on the planet, and stop playing the world’s policeman, and stop pretending we know how to “nation build” other cultures in our own image. We suck at it.

We need to recognize that the real threats to the US come from China. Asia and the Pacific rim is where the real conflict is.
