Don’t worry about it David. It is not actually possible to spend 2 trillion dollars, even split up over five years. Most people don’t understand it and think that is $100 Billion is good, then 10 times that is even better. But there are actual physical limitations around writing contracts, invoicing and paying the money. If you look into this bill, you find it is mostly funded by money already allocated by previous trillion dollar spending bills, but were not spent. The same will happen this time. About half of this can’t even be stolen and redistributed to connected Democrats. it just isn’t possible. But that won’t stop the greedy bastards from trying.
Infrastructure: money taxed from the middle class to subsidize the Teslas that the rich drive, and subsidize new charging stations so rich people can recharge their cars easier.
I own a Tesla Plaid and before that, a Tesla Model S. They are amazing cars that are as expensive as Hell. They have three electric motors and produce over 1000 HP instantaneously to an All-Wheel Drive system. The onboard computer system is powerful enough to get a manned mission to the moon and back.
The problem with my Teslas is that a Plaid is a four-seat version that costs between 125,000-135,000 dollars. My other models are much less costly but are scaled-down as far as capability and my batteries still suffer from failing too soon. That is why I have taken the steps to begin the manufacture of my own batteries that use a new type of technology that I will not go into right now.
The future of transportation is Electric. But for the next thirty to fifty years, I still see the need for Petrol powered transportation. Such as Airlines, Trains, Large Military ships, and Fighter jets. Simply put with even what is on the horizon there is still nothing that can keep an F-22 Raptor in the air for extended periods of time and certainly no way to do a mid-air swap of batteries.
Have no fear people. Oil will not go away for a long time. But long before It disappears you will be driving a Tesla or someone else’s version of an electric car.
