Fauci Wants A COVID Vaccine Mandate For School Kids

Well, this is one way for Government to take power away from parents

Fauci says COVID vaccination mandates for school children ‘good idea’

Dr. Anthony Fauci says he thinks it’s a good idea amid the surge in coronavirus cases, due to the highly contagious delta variant, to mandate COVID vaccinations for students to attend schools.

“I believe that mandating vaccines for children to appear in school is a good idea,” the chief medical adviser for the White House said Sunday in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “We’ve done this for decades and decades, requiring polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis. So this would not be something new requiring vaccinations for children to come to school.”

The Culver City Unified School District, a small school district in Los Angeles, last week appeared to become the first district in the nation to require students 12 years and older to be inoculated.

Fauci’s comments come a week after the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine won full approval from the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA). With the Pfizer vaccine fully approved and with children across the country heading back to school, more than 100 congressional lawmakers last week urged the FDA to give initial authorization for COVID vaccines for those under 12 years of age as soon as possible.

It would be one thing if the COVID vaccines were at least 90% reliable in stopping people from getting COVID, in the way other required for school vaccines stop things like smallpox or how the tetanus vaccine works. However, they aren’t even close. Especially with all the fast mutating versions. But, to require kids get a vaccine that is showing to be able to stop it around 50% of the time? Sure, it usually means that if you have the vaccine that symptoms will be mild. Or not

(WRAL) WRAL Fayetteville reporter Gilbert Baez has been hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19.

Baez, who was fully vaccinated, was hospitalized on Thursday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville after he diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia following his positive COVID-19 test the day prior.

“My doctor says the fact that I was vaccinated helped me battle the virus,” Baez said Friday. “I’m OK as long as I sit still, but the slightest movement triggers uncontrollable coughing and struggles with breathing.”

In fairness, without the vaccine it could have been worse. Or not. We don’t really know.

(WRAL) Duke University employees will have until Oct. 1 to prove they have received the COVID-19 vaccine, or be terminated and ineligible be rehired at Duke in the future.

In a message sent to employees, Duke leaders said faculty and staff can apply for a medical or religious exemption, but anyone approved will still have to do daily symptom monitoring, weekly surveillance testing, wear a mask and other COVID-19 safety protocols.

Employees have until 10 a.m. to receive and show documentation of vaccination. Duke officials said so far, 91 percent of employees have already completed the requirement.

Those who have not shown they are fully vaccinated by the deadline will be placed on administrative leave. Employees will then have seven days to either receive the single-dose Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine or the first dose of the Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

Of course, when we are vaccinated, we get our lives back, right? Or, will they continue to require masks and other measures?

‘Hell no’: Some police officers and their unions oppose vaccination mandates

Hours after the Food and Drug Administration fully approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine Monday, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot made an emphatic declaration: “City employees are absolutely going to be required to be vaccinated.” (snip)

The same day, John Catanzara, the president of Chicago’s Fraternal Order of Police, which represents the city’s rank-and-file officers, made it clear that he did not intend to comply.

“It cannot be mandated,” he told the Chicago Sun Times. “It’s that simple.”

“Our members don’t want to be mandated to do anything like that,” said Catanzara, who did not return multiple phone and email requests for an interview this week.

Huh

The battle brewing in Chicago is playing out in cities and towns across the country. Police unions in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Seattle; and Syracuse, New York, have pushed back against vaccination requirements, as has the union representing state police in Massachusetts.

This week, just days after New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said Education Department employees must receive at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine by Sept. 27, the city’s largest police union told its members in an email that it would take legal action to defend their “right to make such personal medical decisions” if they faced the same requirement.

In defending his members’ right to violate Chicago’s mandate, which takes effect Oct. 15, Catanzara made false claims about the vaccines’ safety.

“This vaccine has no studies for long-term side effects or consequences,” he told the Sun Times. “None. To mandate anybody to get that vaccine, without that data as a baseline, amongst other issues, is a ‘hell no’ for us.”

If those are false claims, why is there nothing in the article show where and how they are false? It hasn’t even been around for a year, we barely have short term studies. Is it any wonder many are vaccine resistant when they aren’t shown the data?

And, yes, again, I do recommend getting the vaccine.

Fauci is a monster for even suggesting injecting children.

    That’s what Mengele did.

Is Teach suggesting we remove all those fascistic immunization mandates for school children? By the way since smallpox was eliminated by worldwide vaccination, it is no longer required.

  3. Hairy says:

Puppy boy did you get your dog vaccinated?

  4. Kye says:

Thank you Teach for showing the difference between an actual vaccine that eliminates a very deadly disease and a faux vaccine which provides therapeutic remedy for a very low mortality flu and has no actual vaccine guarantee. “Don’t think of it as a vaccine,” argued Dr. Berenson of the COVID-19 vaccines “Think of it – at best – as a therapeutic with a limited window of efficacy and terrible side effect profile that must be dosed IN ADVANCE OF ILLNESS.” Plus it’s proved worthless for children who don’t need it anyway. Vaccinating kids for the sake of vaccinating kids could create a sever long term effect problem for no scientific reason.

We need reason and science to deal with pandemics and so far with the Red Chinese/demofascist flu we have gotten neither.

This is what makes sense, changing the guidelines every two weeks does not. That only causes

    confusion

    and resistance.

Elwood P Dowd asked a gorgeous redhead if she would sleep with him for a million dollars; she said she would. He then asked her if she’d sleep with him for a hundred dollars. “Of course not!” she yelled. “What kind of girl do you think I am.”

“We’ve already established what kind of girl you are,” Mr Dowd replied. “We’re just dickering on the price now.”

If it would make a difference if the vaccines were 90% effective, why would it be different if they were only 89% effective? What about 85%? What about 55%?

If the point is our individual liberty, setting a point at which individual rights fail is deciding that individual rights do not count for anything, other than what the government decides.

Besides that, there is a practical argument as well. If the vaccines were 90% effective, there’d be no need to mandate it anyway; those who chose not to be vaccinated would not be putting anyone else at risk.

Thalidomide was released in West Germany in 1957, with one of the indicated uses being for the relief of morning sickness. It took until 1961 before people connected its use with birth defects. It was never,/i> authorized for use by pregnant women in the United States, due solely to the action of Frances Kelsey of the FDA, over her concern over the lack of evidence over the drug’s long term safety.

Thalidomide is still produced, and is used to treat some cancers. It was tried for relief of some HIV related conditions, but is now associated with a higher viral load in HIV patients.

While I have taken the Moderna vaccine, I recognize that there is a possibility that some longer term side effects could be a problem; we just don’t know what they are because the vaccines haven’t been around long enough for longer term effects to have been documented and researched. I’m 68 years old; longer-term effects are less of a concern to me than fighting the short term effects of COVID-19. But for younger patients, especially those who are healthy, and unlikely to die or even suffer greatly from COVID-19, unknown long term effects are a legitimate concern.

  7. JG says:

The FDA approved vaccine is of a Pfizer Comirnaty vaccine that has not been produced and has not been out on the market. This approved vaccine should not be approved since it takes time and long term study. The ones that are out are listed as “emergency” use and have not been approved by the FDA.

Any emergency use drug is not allowed to be forced on a person per the Nuremberg Code of 1949 signed into law by the USA. Nobody can be coerced, or other methods be made to take a drug that is not approved.

This is all Big Pharma, Globalist politicians, Deep State, MSM, and Big Tech pushing this. If COVID was so deadly then the Dems would have no one entering the USA that had not been vaccinated, but it is likely 2M will cross the southern border without being vaccinated and then sent into various areas of the country. Also massive amounts of Afghans have arrived without COVID and vaccinations.
Then there is the mass push for wearing masks, but if masks stopped COVID then why not biohazard-bins for them all around the USA? IT IS A SCAM.

    • Phil says:

There aren’t two different Pfizer vaccines. It is the same vaccine, but our Pfizer-bought FDA made a legal distinction for the following reasons.

Pfizer can continue to give out the shots they produced and had in inventory under the EUA, it continues the complete exemption from liability they had under the EUA, but the government can use the “headline” that the drug is now approved (not under an EUA) to convince companies and state/local governments to mandate vaccinations, even though nothing has really changed and they didn’t set an exact date when Comirnaty will legally start and Pfizer’s EUA exemption from legal liability will end.

Win-win for Pfizer and the government fascists.

  8. ruralcounsel says:

Every public or private official that mandates these experimental vaccines should be held personally liable if the vaccines do end up causing myocarditis (60% fatality rate after 5 years).

The manufacturers may have been given a liability shield, but that doesn’t extend to anyone who forces others to get them in order to keep their jobs.
