It looks and sounds like the parents were hyped up and calling all over creation, but not from an ICU. Signs are posted everywhere indicating issue with interference in vital monitoring equipment from cell phones. Even doctors are restricted. Also, the people are white, so cops are not restricted.

Let’s get some truth into that junk.
There were zero high school students drafted in WWII. None. Certainly some young men joined with parent permission, but not drafted. Then, FDR made every effort to get us into this conflict. He initiated war with Japan by instituting economic policies that were so severe that Japan had no option but war. The US was actively conducting a war at see against the Germans. I am no fan of Hitler, he reminds me of the type of socialist you desire, but he really tried to keep from being pushed into war with the US.
Then there is rationing. Certainly some materials were in short supply, but Democratic operatives are on record as using their rationing efforts to bring pain. Then we have the unions intentionally holding up critical materials to get benefits literally at the point of a gun, blacks did the same. I could give you many examples of so called black hero’s who were anything but. You would then fall on your knees and show that we should worship them and that they were justified due to secondary status.
As to everyone pulling the same, most did not know why we were at war, a poll taken just before DDay.
We have no reckoning for treatment of colored people. Efforts being made in that respect are creating great divides and will lead to war.

Men were eligible for the draft at 18 and could be drafted while still in school. They could request a deferment until graduation, but many went to war.

He had no choice but to go to war with America? Are you daft? Over 400,000 Americans were killed defending the world from domination by the Nazis and the Japanese military, and you blame America??

Oh, the idea about the Japs having to attack came from the US Park Service lecture at the Arizona memorial. Again, you are a ver, very, stupid person.

He signed up with the Army in ’71 during the Vietnam War, ya know.
