High Flying John Kerry: “No government is going to solve” Climate Crisis (scam)

I was hoping what climate poobah John “I was in Vietnam” Kerry meant was that all the Believers would be pushed to practice what they preach. Giving up fossil fuels and meat, taking short showers, handwashing and line drying clothes, etc and so on. Nope

Kerry: ‘No government is going to solve’ climate change

John Kerry climateU.S. climate envoy John Kerry on Tuesday said he believed the private sector was more likely to find solutions to climate change than government.

“I was convinced, and I remain convinced, no government is going to solve this problem,” Kerry said in remarks at the Institute of International Finance’s 2021 Washington Policy Summit.

“The solution is going to come from the private sector, and what government needs to do is create the framework within which the private sector can do what it does best, which is allocate capital and innovate and begin to take the framework that’s been created. … We need to go after this as if we’re really at war.”

Kerry said the private sector will reap financial benefits from the energy transition.

“It’s a transition, yes, some people are going to have do things differently and begin to shift expenditure, shift priority and infrastructure transition and so forth,” he said. “But in all of that, none of that happens without jobs … without people working, whether it’s pipefitters, electricians, construction workers across the board.”

All unionized jobs, of course. If the private sector was really, truly interested, they’d be doing it now, because they saw a profit, rather than mostly paying lip service. If they need Government to give them lots and lots of money to do this, along with a framework of What Is Acceptable, well, not really a private sector initiative, is it?

Kerry predicted a “race to the new technology, whether it’s direct-air capture or better and more affordable storage, more effective geothermal … there are technology opportunities that are going to create enormous wealthy for those that are venturesome and go out and chase those gold pots.”

This cult has been going on for 30+ years: there hasn’t been a race so far. Just a smattering of climate cult stuff.

Kerry emphasized the need to “reassert American leadership” on climate, noting that the U.S. comprises 15 percent of worldwide emissions, while “China is about 30 percent and when you add the [European Union] you’re well over 50 percent.”

Oh, good. Then there’s this

(White House) Today, President Biden invited 40 world leaders to the Leaders Summit on Climate he will host on April 22 and 23. The virtual Leaders Summit will be live streamed for public viewing.

Oh, good, so 40 world leaders will get to see how mentally problematic the U.S. president is.

Well at least we understand why the democrats want to keep us locked down.

So they can protect the Senile ONE. Virtual meetings so that someone can tell him what to say off camera repeatedly. I had to laugh when he said his plan is to run in 2024.

Well I can now honestly understand why they want the SENILE ONE to be the prez for 8 years. How many people are telling him what to do and believe in the background without any push back from him?

CRT, AGW, MORE 3 letter institutions bent on destroying the world and certainly at least the USA all in the name of COMMUNIST CHINA who is footing the bill.

As any extended town hall or press conference shows, there is no evidence Biden suffers from dementia.

Well, in a way, the distinguished Mr Kerry is correct: if any changes come, they will have to come from the private sector.

Who knows? Perhaps private-sector technological development can find ways to capture much more of the CO2 being spewed into the atmosphere. The corporations which develop that will become wealthier than King Midas. Perhaps private-sector technological development can find ways to power automobiles with zero emissions and the practicality of gasoline and diesel powered cars and trucks of today; then the public would eagerly accept them. Perhaps private-sector technological development will be able to build warp-driven starships and transporters and phasers and photon torpedoes; we want to believe that those things can happen, don’t we?

“No government is going to solve it..” hell, the government can’t even fix pot holes.

World leaders actually respect President Biden, while they laughed at trump. The world laughed at America during the trump’s one term.

President Biden was certainly effective at his press conference the other day, showing more knowledge of America in an hour than trump showed in 4 years. We should all wish that trump had listened to someone other than Putin, Kim, Xi, Flynn, Bannon, Stephen Miller and his father’s and Roy Cohn’s voices in his head. trump is gone. Get over it.

Is Teach implying that Sec Kerry wasn’t in Vietnam?

And as a proto-anarchist Teach doesn’t understand the roles of government positively influencing economies large and small. America transfers a $ TRILLION a year to private defense contractors, not to mention cities and states housing bases. Think of the small businesses supported by those contractors.

Businesses need clear guidance by way of laws and policies, then, as Sec Kerry said, “The solution is going to come from the private sector, and what government needs to do is create the framework within which the private sector can do what it does best, which is allocate capital and innovate and begin to take the framework that’s been created. …”

And yes a “framework” will affect some more than others. It would be more efficient for businesses to dump pollutants directly into rivers, the air or on land, but we have laws that prohibit this. Does Teach object to these laws? Anyone who worked in the downtown of a large city in the 70s can answer that for you. Local zoning laws, disturbing the peace, public nuisance laws, vehicular noise, auto emissions laws, open burning prohibitions all limit “freedom”.

Man, are you living a a fukin fairy tale or what? The man is a senile, drooling fool. Supported by communist CCP money and a bunch of tech billionaires. He’s a piece of shit that couldn’t win an election except by fraud and vote manipulation.

According to the highly partisan and completely demofascist run Politico fact-checker Kessler:

Biden – To hear them [Republicans] complain when they passed a close to $2 trillion Trump tax cut, 83 percent going to the top 1 percent.

Kessler – Biden uses a misleading Democratic talking point that has often earned Two Pinocchio’s. The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center estimated that initially more than 80 percent of taxpayers would get a tax cut, with less than 5 percent getting a tax increase. The top 1 percent received 20.5 percent of the tax cut in 2018. . . .

Biden – I also set a goal before I took office, of getting the majority of schools in K through 8 fully open in the first 100 days. Now, thanks to the enormous amount of work done by our administration, educators, parents, local, state education officials and leaders, a recent Department of Education survey shows that nearly half of the K-through-8 schools are open now, full time, five days a week for in-person learning.

Kessler – Biden is referring to a survey, released Wednesday, that surveyed schools on the situation in January, just as Biden took office. So the numbers do not reflect anything that has happened on Biden’s watch. Moreover, Biden overstated what the survey found. . . .

Biden – Well, look, the idea that I’m going to say, which I would never do, that if an unaccompanied child ends up at the border, we’re just going to let them starve to death and stay on the other side — no previous administration did that either, except Trump.

Kessler – Biden claimed, without apparent evidence, that children “starved to death” in Mexico under President Donald Trump’s 2019 policy allowing border officers to return non-Mexican asylum seekers to locations in Mexico as their claims are adjudicated in immigration courts. Asked for evidence of such deaths, a White House official referred to reports of “widely reported treacherous conditions at camps along the border on the Mexican side that formed as a result of the Trump Administration’s use of the Migrant Protection Protocol, more commonly known as ‘Remain in Mexico.’”. . . .
[B]ut none documented the deaths of children by starvation.

Biden – If you take a look at the number of people are coming, the vast majority, the overwhelming majority of people coming to the border crossing are being sent back, are being sent back, thousands, tens of thousands of people, who are over 18 years of age and single people, one at a time coming, have been sent back, sent home. We’re sending back the vast majority of the families that are coming.

Kessler – Almost all single adults are turned away, so Biden started off in accurate territory when he spoke about “the overwhelming majority of people” and those “who are over 18 years of age and single.” Then he flubbed [note: or lied] when he added “the vast majority of families.” Only 41 percent were turned away last month.

Biden – Nothing has changed. As many people came — 28 percent increase in children to the border in my administration; 31 percent in the last year, in 2019, before the pandemic, in the Trump administration. It happens every single, solitary year. There is a significant increase in the number of people coming to the border in the winter months of January, February, March. It happens every year.

Kessler – . . .But the numbers do not spike in the winter “every single, solitary year,” as he said. In 2017, for instance, apprehensions and encounters with “inadmissible” migrants declined through the winter.

And, as The Washington Post reported Monday, the number of unaccompanied minors arriving at the border could reach a monthly record when March ends. Biden’s comparison covers the January-to-February period, but the tables could turn on him by the end of the week.
“Never before have so many minors arrived so fast,” The Washington Post reported. “Over the last three weeks, the average number of teenagers and children crossing into the United States without their parents has topped 550 per day, according to the latest government data reviewed by The Washington Post. Border officials are on pace to take in more than 17,000 minors this month, which would be an all-time high.”

Chairman Xiden the illegal leader of the not-so-free-world is a freekin liar, a corrupt fool and a commie conspirator.
