No one realistically thought he could over turn the election. However there was always a chance given the massive voter fraud and violations of state, local, national and constitutional laws by 6 states that Biden flipped.
Trump followed his constitutional right to challenge the election and present a case of voter fraud.
All the cases were NEVER heard but rather thrown out on technicalities. The Courts did not want to hear this knowing that every judge who said YES would be canceled. His home destroyed, him families lives in tatters by the left.
Fear is your way as even now the left is installing permanent borders around the capital to defend them selves against little old ladies waving flags.
As for evidence that Trump told the people to go invade the capital. It is now being proven that the pipe bombs were planted the day before trump supposedly inspired insurrection in his little speech.
There is evidence that the people who perpetrated the violence on the capitol were planning to do this for weeks and that they were radicalized white nationalists and not Trump supporters.
This is why you don’t have a flash impeachment. This is why you dont roll up in your cop car throw the driver on the ground and wisk them away to jail, stand them in front of a judge and say he was a drug dealer.

It will have an impact on Police, Soldiers who are being asked to violate the constitution and their oath by rounding up innocent people and putting them in jail for nothing more than donating to Trump, saying the election was stolen or making fun of democrats.

Then in 1931 FDR took Roosevelt’s Bull Moose Platform and made it his own. The progressive agenda transported to America. The flip was complete. Democrats became Republicans and Republicans became Democrats.
Just as YOU today are starting to defend corporations and big business and shouting for more war not less. You once was opposed to the patriot act and now you welcome censorship and spying on YOUR VERSION OF EVIL.
The democrats are becoming the party of wall street and big business and corporations. The GOP under trump is now attempting to open its arms and are inviting in LGBTQ, Blacks, Hispanics and anti-war, anti-big business, anti-patriot act supporters.

Corporations are government created entities given government protections for investors. This allows corporations to raise money by selling stock, with reduced risk for the shareholders. If a corporation manufactures a product that they know causes lung cancer but hide that information, the stockholders are not responsible for damages, except as limited by their investment.
Corporations themselves are neither evil nor angels. They serve an important purpose in helping to generate wealth. But we are obliged to regulate/control corporations. Even though “corporations are people, my friend” we don’t have to allow them to control our government.
It’s conservatives that cut corporate taxes, oppose increased minimum wage, oppose universal health care, removed corporate regulations, oppose labor unions, and favor the wealthy over the working class at every turn. Conservatives favor unlimited corporate spending on elections.
That said, Dem elites have been complicit.
It’s no clear that the parties have switched positions. The GOP has been pro-corporation for at least 50 years and has been anti-diversity even longer. Remember, the current GOP is the party of trump.
The esteemed Mr Dowd, a vociferous user of his freedom of speech and of the press, wrote:
